Turns out it was just Albedo. “Gosh, Albedo. Why didn’t you use the code you made? Almost gave me a heart attack..” I slightly ranted, looking back at him. Why did he seem so.. disoriented? I move back an inch, placing my hand on my hip. “Is something the matter? Do you want to talk it out..?” I suggested, he just nodded and I gesture him towards a chair. He shakes his head, declining my courtesy. ‘What a prick..’ I sigh sitting on the bed he provided. “So what’s wrong?”

“[name]. Do you know what happened 500 years ago.” He began, my eyes sullen. I knew this was a heavy topic, especially on certain characters. “Why do you ask..?” I hesitated, looking away from his eyes. “Would you like to know their pain..?” I looked at him puzzled, to see him taking his sword and piercing me with it. “Huh..?” I sputtered. Golden blood dripping from my chest, everything was numb, but why did my heart hurt so much..? “If you truly were our creator. Then that must’ve been your plan.” He glares at me, leaving me to die.

Before I truly died, I managed to let one sentence out. Hoping that this world will get what it deserves. Hoping that he’ll understand my sympathy. “I’m sorry, truly I am.”

It was here where you witnessed his splendor. Smiling eyes caught yours, glistening with such mirthful luster that had you wondering where he had gotten it from. Perhaps the sun, or the luminesced of the waters reflecting the moonlight.

His breathless laughter hung in the air, much like how the stars were strung from the fingers of the deep blue sky.

All this you remembered: His face, his voice, his name.

Kunikuzushi.

At the call of his name, he ambled forth, giggles hindering his movements. Arms extended as a greeting—before tumbling into you, both your bodies toppling to the soft greenness of the earth. Here ensued a pause as you faced each other. A puddle of laughing fools you were; him smiling still with those effervescent optics which shone when they furtively met yours. The white robe of his draped across you, and he felt satisfied knowing he—with the assistance of said white attire—could envelop you entirely in his arms. The scintillating gleam multiplied tenfold when you booped noses before closing the propinquity with a kiss.

Short and sweet was the exchange, and Kunikuzushi felt faint-hearted at the sensation of your soft lips. His whole body stuttered with fervid rhapsodies.

His innocent face bloomed, akin to the sakura blossoms that dusted the grounds of Inazuma City.

The alacritous response from your previous ministration was astounding. You soon found yourself kissing his cheek, eyelids, and forehead, watching in amusement as the sakura before you blossomed into a cherry red. You cooed and cradled his face with such care that should only be shown when handling the most delicate of porcelain.

Foreign was this feeling which twisted his heart in sickly delight. He fed the idyllic euphoria by burrowing further into the safety of your arms, the unblemished apples of his cheeks turning pink like sweet confection. Red from embarrassment or from the warmth your being seeped into his, he wasn’t sure.

He succumbed to this fragility of love, the thing he so earnestly sought in hopes that this prominent feeling would replace the artificiality of his existence—a creation meant to be fleeting, a creation meant to be discarded.

Imagine it’s raining.

You’re chilling, and then you spot hilichurl trying to seek shelter from the rain. You stared for a while…then whistled to get its attention. The hilichurl stared at you. You gestured it to come over, so it did. You made space for it under the tree and the hilichurl muttered something in its language. You didn’t know what but understood that it meant ‘thanks’.

Ah…you didn’t eat lunch today…

The hilichurl stared at you for a second, then reached into a small pouch attached to its belt.

Oh, it’s offering you a sunsettia. You took it with a smile and mumbled ‘thanks’.

The hilichurl nodded and began eating its own. You began to eat yours as well, savouring the flavour and the atmosphere.

Unfortunate circumstances

Summary: How did you end up here? You were supposed to be in school attending classes like you usually did, but here you are, in a completely different universe, alone in an inn with only a couple thousand mora to you name and bag for school. What will happen to you now?

It’s been 500 years since then and people still hold on to a sliver of hope that maybe, just maybe, they might return to Teyvat, to their most beloved creation...”

“[name]! Stop playing and go to bed. You still have school tomorrow!” Your mother shouted at you from somewhere downstairs. “Yeah, in a minute!” You yell back as you wrap up the domain that you were doing.

Sighing, you place your phone on the bedside table and went to sleep.

You slowly open your eyes only to be met by a black and endless void, ‘what the fuck?’ you thought to yourself as you look around in confusion. ‘[name]’ a mysterious voice says. “Hello??” you say as you quickly look around again to try and look for the thing talking to you. ‘It’s time for your return’ “return? What do you mean by that?” before you could receive a reply, you were woken up by your mother shaking you.

“[name] wake up! You’re nearly late for school!” she shouts at you as you jolt up and jump out of bed. “Shit! Sorry!” you shout as you run towards the bathroom, nearly bumping into a table due to how disoriented you were. “Hurry up!” You mom says as she heads downstairs to quickly pack your breakfast.

According to your mom, the bus had already left while you were showering so now, you were sprinting to school so at least you can reach class after the ceremony. ‘I swear I was only asleep for a few seconds-’ while lost in your thoughts, you didn't notice the weirdly coloured puddle ahead. When you stepped on the puddle, but, instead of your feet hitting the concrete pavement, your feet never came in contact with anything; making you fall into what you thought was a puddle of water.

You fell into the puddle and fell for what felt like minutes yet it was only for a few seconds. Praying to whatever god there was out there that this was some weird dream and if it wasn't, for at least your bag would cushion your fall. 

You finally fall to the ground, though, you were expecting a harder fall, but it only felt like falling off the couch. You open your eyes to see that you were laying in what looked like a small land surrounded by water, . “Where...am I?” you say to yourself before sitting up and looking around, “Is that-” your eyes widen when your saw a familiar building just a few metres away “wangshu inn???” you rub your eyes to make sure you weren't seeing things before looking at the inn again. “Woah...” you say as you stand up, struggling a bit because of the weight of your bag. “So this is Dihua Marsh...?” you ask yourself as you take some time to admire your surroundings. Taking in the fact that this whole thing was real and not just a bunch of pixels on a screen.

After admiring the beauty of Liyue, you decided to head to the inn to maybe take a break since your feet were aching from the running and you just wanted to put down your bag because good lord was it heavy. You slowly trudge to the inn, thanking the archons that you didn’t encounter any enemies.
