I walk back in, smile on my face. "Hey! I know I just came recently, but, I couldn't get the Horror's or the Teeth's out of my head. And I thought, maybe, I could, I dunno, adopt a pair?"

*You had practically turned right back around for them and the desk assistant Twister Lamia Nagrada chuckled*

Nagrada: Sure thing Darlin’, follow me.

*He slid out of his pool over the towel and guided you to the Horror and Teeth Pantry, many of them sitting on shelves with the Horrors continuously devouring food, Teeth doing the same even though the taller skellies were also cooking, the smell of spices and so many foods could practically make someone’s head swim and that was just how they liked it*

How would each bitty react if their owner was attacked by someone?

Oh boy. Prepare for maiming and possibly worse with these bad bitties. They’re called that for a reason. 

Nightmare: They might seem like gooey pushovers sometimes with how they show irritation but don’t act on it at first, they put up with a lot of stuff before they get furious. Their owner or other ones in their family being attacked is that trigger for them. If they are powerful enough they will immediately latch onto the attacker and drill their power right into their skull, driving them insane with living Nightmares. Such is the price you pay when messing with what they care about. 

Dreams: Dreams act as the Counterpart to their brothers in which they do not act as an aggressor, they try to distract the attacker with themselves long enough for their owner to run and get help at the cost of themselves, just wanting their owners to be safe. 

Killer: Someone’s going to die, and he’s going to have fun doing it. 

Murder: Will also aim to kill the attacker, can be stopped if you tell him to not kill the other person, but he will definitely maim no matter his size, he can teleport and it works in his favor. 

Horror: They will try and find something sharp to protect you, but when all else fails they have that never-ending hunger they can put at use to distract the owner’s attacker.

Teeth: They are usually unable to protect themselves unless they put down traps beforehand, if the Owner is attacked in an unfamiliar place they will throw themselves in the way of their Owner to the best of their abilities, protecting them until they dust.

Toriel: She will give warnings when they approach before she starts giving them second degree burns to distact them as she flees with her owner and has them call the police. 

Raggedy: Third degree burns instead of second, permanently scarring them, just as she believes it should be.

Queenie: Will fight back with what she can, will continuously warn them off while throwing fire balls at them, but if they refuse to back down she will seriously fight them for their owner’s safety.

Empress: She never traverses without contacts that can protect her and her Owner. You don’t know how she has them, but she does and when her Owner’s attacked it isn’t long before someone bigger and stronger comes and gets them from the Empresses instructions. 

Mumcher: Either she will dust or they will die. Her worst fear is to be left alone, and you dying is like that- she will fight until one of their lives are extinguished, she will fight for your protection and the protection of those she loves, utilizing teeth, claws and fire while you have the chance to escape until one is triumphant. 

How would the bitties react to meeting their owner’s S/O? And a possible wedding?

Sorry this took so long to answer! (I was half-way through answering this when Tumblr stopped responding so I had to reload the page which deleted everything ^^)

We have to look at the situation and what’s going on in it: Does the bitty have a positive view of the S/O or not?

Because the Owner probably won’t be springing the S/O out of nowhere, they would probably be in the relationship for a little while before formally introducing them and the bitties will respond based on how much their owner likes them and how much their owner has changed from the relationship, both good and bad. I’ll be answering both, but this will make a long post so buckle the heck up!

Nightmare: (Positive View) Will be open to meeting the S/O and learning more about them, in the future when a possible wedding is mentioned he’ll be all for it and would probably want to be a part of it like a ring bearer or something. 

(Negative View) Passive Aggressive, watches every move the S/O makes and any perceived slight on you and the family will only make them angrier. 

Not openly hostile until a wedding is mentioned where he starts actively conjuring the worst nightmares the S/O can receive, gathering the power to make every moment around them a waking nightmare.

Dream: (Positive) Will be ecstatic in meeting the Owner’s beloved S/O, will encourage Owner and S/O to be communicative in the relationship so things will go smoothly, when the wedding is mentioned he will be thrilled and ask to help plan it with you and be a part of it. 

(Negative) Dreams are very easily manipulated and lied to, so to get a negative reaction S/O must be blatantly harmful to their owner, unless another bitty brings the Owner’s emotional state to Dream’s attention. He will be much less smiley, will put himself actively between S/O and their Owner in case of any physical action. He would never go actively after the S/O on the offense, even if a wedding is announced, more than likely becoming disheartened and more quiet. Will not be involved and will likely mention to their owner they don’t think S/O is good for them and that they don’t make the Owner actually happy, and that’s all the Dream wants from their owner, for them to be happy. If adopted with a Nightmare he will stop at nothing to work against his brother so as to not make the relationship even worse. 

Killer: It’s a brave soul to want to date a Killer’s Owner, if S/O stays after first meeting the Killer they must be either really good or really bad and Killer doesn’t really mind either as long as his Owner isn’t murdered, because that would be no fun. Will still betray S/O if Owner asks him to harm S/O to protect themselves, after all their Owner just gave them free reign to stab something living. 

Murder: (Positive View) Those around them are more important than them being alive, so if he likes the S/O he will slowly but surely absorb them into the family and treat them the same way. A wedding announcement will be met with a smile, The Murder likely making a gift for the two of them to bless the relationship in his own way. 

(Negative View) Will be very openly hostile to S/O when meeting them because of the changes in their Owner and what things they had heard about them. Owner might be blinded by rose colored glasses but this bitty sure isn’t, seeing any hurtful comment or ‘slap on the wrist’ for what it is and will make S/O’s life a living hell by pranking them with increasingly hurtful ways until they get the heck out of their life. 

If the warnings are not heeded and a wedding is green-lit the Murder will hold a meeting with the other bitties. 

If a majority votes to go he will escape with them and create a safer space for the bitties under his care, the Owner being deemed too far gone to bring with them. 

If majority votes they stay, the S/O will turn up dead and covered in a small pile of dust. After all, those around him are more to him important than his own life, and he isn’t letting them stay in danger. 

Horror: (Positive View) Also one that cares very deeply about family he will be on guard around the S/O, but slowly accept them into the family as long as he gets positive interations as well. As time passes he will eventually consider them to be completely family and will make sure they’re eating well. When Marriage is brought up he volunteers to try the catering and will probably be on the snack table the entire time, offering food personally when the official ceremony is done to the S/O as a way to bless the marriage. 

(Negative View) Doesn’t explicitly say that he hates the S/O when they first meet, but his puns are much darker than usual and are in reference to eating the S/O. There will be no touching of the other Family members or S/O’s losing a finger so they better be prepared.  

If marriage is announced they will feel like the Owner is giving up precious sustenance for a body that does nothing for the others and makes the owner act like they’ve been taking poison and have been thus losing themselves. Will give an ultimatum where either the S/O goes or he goes with any other bitty willing. 

Teeth: (Positive View) Very excited for their owner, like a Dream will help pick out Outfits for the Owner to look their best and when meeting the S/O for the first time he will have made his best creation to offer to them, probably having spent the whole day making and re-making the food to pick the best from the bunch to offer. 

Will offer to cater if a wedding is mentioned, but his size is so small that if the Owner is having anything bigger than four people and a handful of bitties they’ll have to break it to him that they need more than just him to have everything prepped for everyone warm and ready. 

(Negative View) Will try to be polite when meeting the S/O, telling himself that he must meet them face to face and give them a chance. When it becomes clear to him that S/O really is a bad person things will change. 

His brain doesn’t really work the same as other Papyrus bitties. Sure he believes people can do better and encourages them to do so, but he has more of a dark side than the others. Will make comments in concern of his Owner known and would never do a violence to S/O directly or with actual intent to harm but his ‘Puzzles’ (Please Read: Dangerous Traps) will be strewn about more haphazardly and he keeps ‘forgetting’ to tell S/O how to evade them, still offering to be a caterer at the wedding but not putting his all into it if accepted. 

Toriel: (Positive View) Will be very happy for their Owner and will do their best to put their best foot forward for their owner to try and get to know S/O better and will probably brag about their Owners and other family members while at it. When a wedding is announced she will plead to be one of the Bridesmaids, very proud of her Owner. 

(Negative View) Toriels hold grudges like no one’s business, a serious slight to the Owner and the S/O is in her bad books for a long time unless it is a proven misunderstanding, will exclude S/O in family matters and other such things and will be firm in telling her Owner that she does not want them to get married when it is brought up and will not go to the ceremony. 

Raggedy: (Positive View) Will take a while to warm up to S/O even when she had heard good things about them, defensive and jumpy around them until they gain her trust in which she becomes close to them and puts them under her protection, will demand to be a Bridesmaid if there is a wedding. 

(Negative View) Another one that holds grudges she is quick to hate while slow to warm up, will keep the other bitties in the family away from S/O and if the S/O becomes Abusive with S/O she’ll be tearing into them with her claws before the gaslighting can even properly take off the ground, and she will be very adamant in her refusal if any wedding possibilities are mentioned.

Queenie: (Positive View) Another Warm Motherly type she will be very happy to meet the S/O from all the good things their Owner had told them, will offer flowers if the praises and changes have been especially glowing and will offer to be the flower woman when the time comes for a wedding. 

(Negative View) Queenies blame themselves for anything that can go wrong in the family. She believes anything that goes wrong in the family must be a failing on her part in some way, and the Owner getting a Bad S/O will cause her to wilt like the flowers in her garden until she’s practically cracking from the pressure, depressed and hardly talking to anyone. After some point She will then pretend nothing is wrong after a time and behave as normal, but by that point she’s probably dead inside and it will take a lot of love, care and therapy to get the actual her back, will still volunteer to be the flower woman but like the Teeth will not put much heart into it.

Empresses: (Positive View) The Elegant and Refined bitties are very selective in their Owner’s S/O, wanting the best Owner to have the best things, to have her think positively of the Owner’s S/O probably means that they are the Cream of the Crop, the absolute best pick that she could think of and will approve. She will probably demand to be the officiate to the Owner’s Wedding. 

(Negative View) When an Empress deigns someone not good enough for their Owner for one reason or another she freezes them out, will probably blackmail the S/O into leaving their Owner alone, and she wouldn’t be blackmailing them out of the relationship if they didn’t have anything on them. 

Mumchers: Mumchers are very insecure and fear abandonment, so whether Positive View or not the S/O is getting the Shovel Talk and will be monitored closely until she can make a proper decision with them one on one. If they are greenlit she is more than happy to bring them into the family and love them, being very enthused for a future wedding, if not she will make sure that the S/O is out of the picture before they can take the Owner or anyone else she loves away from her, one way or another.

How about a 'what if' fic, stating what might have happened if a different bitty had come in the mail?

That would be an interesting thing to do but I don’t know if that’s necessarily a ‘Choose your own Adventure’, I think I’ll put it on the poll as an alternative though and see how many people would want that :3
