Ain’t love grand?

Family, friends, and co-workers are all commenting on how skinny I look after losing almost 60 pounds. I’m under 250 for the first time in ten years and the eight inch reduction in my waistline (from 52 down to 44) means I’m wearing clothes that haven’t fit in years and are actually loose on me. But this selfie taken just this morning shows I’m still pretty freakin’ fat and “skinny” only in comparison to my former over 300 pound self — my double belly and FUPA are definitely still alive and sizable!

Navelicious: Is the simple belly button an under valued asset? Personally speaking I think they’re great — for a fatty like me who was blessed with an “outsy” belly button it provides an inviting place for a lover or friend to insert a couple of fingers and give my belly rolls a good vigorous shake (preferably while using their other hand to proffer a donut to my eager lips!) … one of life’s simple pleasures for a person of size.

Such an extraordinary Earth Mother, a veritable modern day Venus of Willendorf, don’t you think?
