imagine you are texting with a friend and suddenly they tell you that a house near them was just hit with a bomb. in the middle of your conversation. to be more specific, think of the last friend you texted, open up your messages even and look, and think about how you would feel if that happened. how would they feel?
this just happened while i was talking with @nesmaah. she and her family are in constant danger and their only chance of escaping it right now is to get enough money to leave gaza. i'm leaving their fundraiser below. please share and donate if you can. these are real people who are in danger right now, who are suffering, who are trying to live despite the circumstances. do not forget that every single person asking for help is a person just like you and your loved ones.
Members of a private WhatsApp group, including billionaires like the CEO of Dell and the former CEO of Starbucks, allegedly used the chat to discuss ways to pressure New York City Mayor Eric Adams to use police to crack down on Gaza solidarity protests at the city’s universities, according to The Washington Post. AJ+ has not seen the chat messages referenced in The Washington Post’s report directly.
NYPD officers raided encampments at schools like Columbia University and the City College of New York, arresting close to 200 protesters in just one day. This is very urgent so please share however you can. Islam, the mom of this family in Gaza, is eight months pregnant but has a fractured pelvis and therefore cannot give birth safely. She needs a C-section, but the conditions to perform those no longer exist in Gaza. For months women in Gaza have been getting C-sections without anaesthesia. We need to get her out before she goes into labor, which could happen at any time now. We're halfway through the goal and even if everyone just chipped in 5-10 dollars it adds up quick!

Israel has done what we all predicted and warned about. Simple, pure evil. They pushed Palestinians by carpet bombing everywhere till they all had to go to the least bombed place (No, Rafah was never completely safe. They were bombed there, too, to a horrific degree), and then, after cramming what nears a two million civilians with about 600 thousand children, they are asking them to leave... to where?! Nowhere. They are just saying leave. So then, when they kill them all, they can say 'Oh, we warned them'

Rafah is now the most densely populated place in the world, with a population of about 1.5 million and prehaps more in 64 km2. About 25 miles squere.

A marathon is 26 miles straight. You can at least run through Rafah in length once and in width twice and pass the 1.5 million Palestinians. That's how crammed it is. With no where to run

At least 5 Palestinians, including a 16-year old child, were killed in an Israeli raid on the city of Tulkarem. This marks one of the most violent raids in the West Bank, spanning several days and still ongoing. Israeli settler violence is also seeing an all-time high, aided and abetted by IOF forces that have not only been shooting Palestinians and beating them to death, but also blocking ambulances attempting to rescue them.
