I’ve been kinda obsessed with @consultingpacha ‘s fic ‘The Veiled King’, which can be found here. I’m loving the depiction of grief and mourning in the fic, plus it’s got all those good good fic tropes (presumed dead AND amnesia, truly I am winning). Thing was, I couldn’t totally get my brain to picture Thorin in his veil???

So when @lorbalith opened up commissions over on Instagram, I ran over and was like ‘PLEASE’.

And here we are.
