I've Shared Their Fundraiser Before, But I Want To Bring Special Attention Today To Mohammed Al Manasra
i've shared their fundraiser before, but i want to bring special attention today to Mohammed Al Manasra (@save-mohamed-family) and his family, as donations have continued to be very slow.
after spending months raising money to cover the evacuation fees for himself, his wife, and their three little children, Mohammed's gofundme was shut down and all the funds (amounting to about $35,000) he had worked so hard to collect were lost. the family has had to restart their campaign entirely from scratch.
Mohammed and his family were displaced after a devastating airstrike that took the lives of Mohammed's parents and four of his sisters, along with their spouses and children. he has been left as one of the few survivors of his family.
to compound the urgency of their situation, both Mohammed and his wife need vital medical treatment. Mohammed cannot get the medications he needs to treat his chronic respiratory problems, and is suffering from a severe leg injury that will lead to amputation if untreated much longer. his wife has uterine cancer and has not received chemotherapy or any other treatment for ten months.
meanwhile, their three children (ages six, four, and three) suffer from malnutrition, insect bites, and skin rashes from polluted water and the stifling heat of the tent. every day, diseases like hepatitis, cholera, and polio are spreading, threatening especially the fragile health of young children like Abdulrahman, Sarah, and Lina.
the minimum amount the family needs to evacuate to safety is $18,000 CAD, but more funds are needed to secure housing, treatment for Mohammed and his wife, and to rebuild the family's livelihood, bringing the final goal to $50,000 CAD. so far, they have only raised $2,085, and have received barely three donations today.
please support this fundraiser in any capacity you can to help the Al Manasra family reach a safe place and give their children the bright and happy future they deserve!
(Mohammed's campaign is #192 on @/el-shab-hussein and @/nabulsi's spreadsheet)

How about tonight in the tent?
How do tired people sleep?
The heat exhausts their skin in the morning and evening, and insects do not leave their bodies. Sleeping on dirty sand is one of the worst things a person can experience. The tent is hot and gloomy, making the person who lives in it feel uncomfortable. What if it were nine months and nights!
As time goes by, the nights become longer and heavier. Broken hearts seek solace in dreams, but even dreams have become a place of pain. How can a person live in such conditions? How can the spirit remain strong in the face of all this misery? We have God, and there is still a place for hope in our hearts, despite everything we are going through..!
Because you, after God, are the source of this hope, I ask you to provide support or share the post as much as possible, as we are close to the second goal of the campaign, which is 20,000 Canadian dollars.
Note: The campaign was verified by @nabulsi , and its number is 219 in the @el-shab-hussein.
All ten MCC Ender Cup Teams!
If you haven't picked up on it or heard about it, Siraj was journalist in Gaza city before this genocide. His updates are a small snippet of the work he typically do in his normal life.
Siraj still finds the time to give us these updates in active war zone, walks however far he needs to upload them for good internet, and faces hate from zionist trying to take down his updates.
Please try to help Siraj rebulid his families house. He wishes to reach by the end of this week. and we are only 1,502 CAD away. If roughly 300 people donate just 5 CAD (which is just 3.60 USD) we would reach his goal.
and the link to all raffles where you can get something in return for your donation here.

Farewell to fellow journalists
Yesterday, we bid farewell to fellow journalist Ismail Al-Ghoul and Rami Al-Rifi in a painful scene, and this video shows the extent of the deliberate brutality in targeting them, as Ismail’s head was separated from his body.
This picture is from the farewell of the martyrs
This photo is of Zeina, the child of journalist Ismail al-Ghoul, who has not seen her father since the beginning of the war
This is the tax of journalistic work, as to date 157 journalists have been martyred and the occupation has arrested dozens, in addition to bombing most newspaper offices and companies.
Despite all that pain, we are still suffering and putting all our effort into rebuilding our homelands and building our homes. Thus, I invite you to help rebuild my house, which was bombed with all barbarism and brutality by the Israeli occupation.
Note: My campaign is moving towards the second goal, 20k. Please get me to it by the end of this week 🙏🏽
My hope and dreams are on you 🙏🏽

Heartbreaking news out of north Gaza today
We write to inform you that renowned journalist Ismail Al-Ghoul and cameraman Ramy El-Rifi of Al-Jazeera were murdered just a few hours ago by the occupation. They were going out to document the scene of another bombing attack, when they were deliberately targeted by the occupation. Footage provided by journalist Osama Al-Ashi in the immediate aftermath of the attack shows that Ismail and Ramy were murdered with targeted precision weaponry, meaning the occupation watched them, waited for them, and executed them in cold blood (warning: graphic footage).
Ismail and Ramy have been documenting the genocide at immense personal cost since the 7th of October 2023. They were previously kidnapped and tortured by the occupation, but survived and continued to remain in north Gaza and document crimes against humanity. They have had many narrow escapes, and today, the occupation was finally successful in its illegal goal of assassinating these prominent journalists.
When western journalists hand-wave their suppression of the IOF’s atrocities in Gaza by claiming no journalists are “allowed” in to report, remember these men. Remind them of these men. These men who lost friends and loved ones, who suffered immensely, and yet chose to remain and continue documenting the genocide against their people. They join the ranks of more than 150 Gazan journalists who were murdered by the occupation to hide its crimes and retaliate for speaking the truth.
حسبنا الله و نعم الوكيل
أنا لله و أنا اليه رجعون
God suffices us and he is the best disposer of affairs. We belong to God and to Him we shall return.
Keep fighting for Gaza. Don’t stop talking about north Gaza.
