· Remember that they can't force you into their lifestyle, religion or mentality, that you have a right to think and live however you think it's best for you as long as it doesn't directly or actively hurt others.

· Remember that you're your own person, with a personality, independent thoughts, feelings and goals, not a "small version" of your "parents" or even a "mini them".

· Remember that you matter, you're valid, and your value isn't determined by any "sperm" or "egg donor" or an "incubator".
