You awoke from your slumber, still drowsy and numb from your sleep. You roll over to face your boyfriend, his dark brown locks slightly falling on his face. His rounded glasses lay on the bedside table along with your guys’ phones and a small clock reading 8:41 AM.

You sigh softly, allowing your eyes to land back at your usually anxious boyfriend. He looked much calmer than he did awake, his brows weren't scrunched up, his lips weren't curved into his awkward smile, he looked calm. With everything he's been through, he deserves to be happy.

You stand up from the bed, pulling off the covers. You take a glance back to Eric, smiling softly, you lean down and give a soft kiss to his forehead.

You head into the bathroom attached to your guys’ bedroom and begin undressing to take a warm morning shower.

Eric stirred hearing the sound of running water, opening his eyes and adjusting to the light slipping through the curtains, he leaned up slowly. Glancing around, he took notice of a few things. 1) You were no longer in bed, meaning you were the one in the shower. 2) The clock read 8:57 AM. 3) The shower had just been turned off from the sound of it.

He laid back down, taking in a deep breath and letting his eyes gently fall back down. Eric has never felt so calm while being awake in his life, you had really made the poor boy happy.

He opened his eyes to the feeling of you jumping onto the bed. He looked over at you, smiling softly. You smiled as well, kissing Eric once more.

He deserves to be happy. . . .

“The Host is afraid. . .” He trailed off, seeming hesitant. You tilted your head in confusion. “Why? Is something wrong?” He breathed in shakily, “ The Host does know his strength, he knows how easy it would be to hurt (Y/N). . . However, The Host isn’t good at keeping his strength under control. He’s hurt people, accidentally in the past,” he pauses, “what if The Host hurts (Y/N)?” You stay silent for a minute, before chuckling lightly. Not at him, just at the idea that The Host, your partner for over a year now, would hurt you. Even if it was an accident. “Host. . . you know that would never happen. I trust you, and I know that you would never hurt me.” “The Host wishes to believe (Y/N), but he still can’t help but feel afraid for (Y/N) safety. The Host doesn’t say it alot but he really loves (Y/N) and can’t stand the thought of losing them.” That got to the blood rushing to your face, you glanced scoffing at his words. Even with your little act up, you were still smiling. Host was one the kindest people you’ve ever met, you don’t know what you would do without him. “Stop being sappy and kiss me already,” you ordered.
