When Emily first joins the GPD, it’s as a 20-year-old intern. she’s a little more shy and quiet than the rest, but nevertheless puts the work in. Emily tends to struggle to make friends, but always tries to remain as respectful as she can be towards strangers.

As time goes on, Emily becomes more outgoing towards the other members, as she gets more used to them. She usually tries to not to show her emotions too often, considering she wants people to take her seriously as an officer, especially because she looks younger than what she actually is. This tends to be one of Emily’s main issues.

Emily acts more true to herself and much more vulnerable when she’s not on the job, or acting somewhere. She’s a beginner actress (during the events of Grimsborough) and is trying to find fame of her own.

As Emily comes to ease herself into the position of an officer more, she becomes more confident around others. She even starts to let herself be more vulnerable.

In the meantime, Emily also tends to dream about love and having a peaceful life. She may struggle to come to terms with the idea of these goals being interrupted. Emily has set high expectations for herself since she was real young, and desperately wants to live up to them!

Emily also tends to be an overachiever. Sometimes it’s on accident, sometimes it’s on purpose.

Another one of Emily’s main flaws is her ego. She’s always real humble, and with that, she takes her accomplishments real personally. Emily loves being able to please others, and to prove to them that she’s capable of her work. However, Emily’s sensitivity causes her to struggle with taking criticism, as well as accepting her own faults.

The Conspiracy: 25 - 26 years old.

Additional information:

- Emily’s hobbies consist of playing the violin, drawing, reading, and she even takes interest in playing video games.

- Along with her drawing skills, Emily may also take up the role of the sketch artist of the team.

- Emily has had pink hair since she was a freshman in High School. She plans on keeping it pink until the day she dies.

- Emily has a big interest in lolita / dollcore esc fashion.

- Along with her fashion sense, Emily works well as an undercover cop. Nobody expects a young woman dressed like a doll to be a cop.

- Even as an actress, Emily prefers to live a private life in Grimsborough. She has no interest in “celebrity gossip” and just wants to live a fun but rather peaceful life.

- Emily has diagnosed anxiety. She’s known to have a tendency to worry about her own health at times. Not to mention, she gets stressed easily.

- Emily also tends to be somewhat of a perfectionist. Ironically enough though, she herself isn’t the most organized person.

- When Emily first started as an officer, she often relied on Jones speaking for her. Considering she was still pretty anxious to start off as an authority figure.

- Emily is an age regressor. She always keeps herself as professional as she can be on the job, but she’s definitely a big softie. Not to mention, she has a big collection of stuffed animals!

- After the events of The Conspiracy, Emily gets star tattoos in which she uses to cover up small scars.

- Emily is a proud Omnisexual. She adores Pride Month and always attends the events.

- Emily would go on to marry her longtime partner, David Jones, and have 4 kids together.

Hi so I was the anon who sent the submission that may have sounded like me attacking a group of fans (it was some along the lines of “CC fans handle an opinion challenge…”) and I would just like to say that I sincerely apologize for it. Seriously. I got too worked up back then after what I thought was people shitting on someone for disagreeing (thinking back, though, they did have some points) and I let my impulses get the better of me.

But now that I’ve looked back and calmed down, I would just like to make my point clear in this submission.

The first thing I’d like to address is that from what I’ve seen so far (especially with Zoe), people tend to make it seem like you **can’t** dislike her and even say some stuff that may come off as condescending to those who don’t like her. And the anon who said that Zoe and Angela were overhated didn’t really help either. If you’re reading this, I’d just like to state that I partially agree with your point. Partially. As someone who’s been in the fandom for nearly three years, I’ve personally only seen at max 3 people who didn’t like Zoe, while people have been hating on Angela from 2016 (source: CC wiki comments) and it even goes till now considering that she has at least 4 fanfics of her just getting beaten up and being blatantly mischaracterized in a ton of them. In conclusion, I honestly don’t think Zoe is overhated just because 3 people dislike her, I honestly don’t know where you’re getting that from. If anything I think she’s the opposite of it and I’d treat her as a fan-favorite considering how many people like her as compared to her haters.

Second thing I’d like to say is that there is a HUGE difference between hating a character because they’re part of a (usually minority) group and disliking them for valid points or any other reason that has little to no correlation to their identity. Like from what I’ve seen, most people don’t hate the female love interests BECAUSE they’re in love the male mc— they just dislike characters who happen to fit into that category for reasons other than shipping. I’ve personally spoken to someone who didn’t like a fan favorite character (Zoe) and they claimed that it was because her writing and execution just didn’t appeal to them. And? That’s totally fine. Opinions are meant to be subjective and not everyone should agree with the majority. Are you allowed to disagree with them and maintain a civil discussion as to why you say that? Yes. Does that mean you get to be condescending towards people who HAPPEN to disagree with you and try to invalidate them? No.

That’s all I have to say for now. Feel free to state your thoughts on this.
