I am not a fan of Zoe Kusama, mainly as a character. I find her overrated, and to be completely honest, somewhat annoying and⌠not that useful as a character herself..
âYou only hate her because you ship your OC with Jones!â
Actually, no. Thatâs not the reason. I donât even âhateâ her. I just donât care about her.
Personally, I found her character introduction very rushed, and I was also annoyed by how it played out.
The thing is, I really WANTED to like her. Really I did, but, she just doesnât do it for me. I just donât see the same appeal to her that others might. I personally donât like how her character is written.
And I admit, there have been past times where Iâve said things about Zoe that I regret now. Such as one time, I was on Wattpad (a totally reliable source I know /s) and I read about Zoe not being faithful-
I know now that this isnât accurate to canon or her character, and I do regret saying such harsh things about her in this context! This happened when I was still fairly new in the fandom.
Even then, the damage has already been done. Iâve developed a disdain for her character because of her fanbase in general. I personally believe sheâs a character thatâs been put way high up on a pedestal to be honest. Iâm talking about the idea that âSheâs done no wrong! You cannot dislike her!â
And donât get me wrong, itâs okay to like a character, any character really. I just donât like it when people seriously go out of their way to say stuff like, âYou shouldnât dislike this character because I love this character!â
And because of stuff like that, I donât like to interact or be involved with the certain parts I dislike in certain fandoms.
Go ahead and do what you will with that info, hate me, shame me, whatever. But either way, thatâs not the point of this post. I only decided to state a personal opinion of mine.
In the end, an opinion is an opinion. You donât have to agree with it, and thatâs okay! The best thing to do is to just accept it or ignore it!
I do genuinely hope this post doesnât offend anyone. This is NOT targeted towards anyone, nor am I trying to harm or discourage anyone!
Iâm also sorry that I suddenly had an urge to rant, I just personally wanted to get my own message across!
Thank you! (:

Amelia Kallendrine was born in a large middle class household with her four siblings in England. At the age of ten, Amelia had immigrated to the US with her family, and had settled in Concordia.
In the years of living in her new settlement, Amelia had quickly gained a spotlight in the show business. Beginning as a simple dancer, things took an unexpected turn when Amelia had fallen in love and eventually wedded with a nobleman at the age of twenty-one.
Her husbandâs riches landed Amelia into an even bigger spotlight than before, and she eventually became the ring leader of a local circus. While Amelia had initially found great joy and excitement into her new career; the pressure, expectations, and the rise in cruelty of performers and circus animals had eventually led her to retire after only four years.
Shortly after these events, it then came to light that Amelia had also wished to retire because she had discovered that she was pregnant. She had made the ultimate sacrifice in putting her baby before her career. However, Amelia had sadly ended up suffering a miscarriage. Humiliated at the fact that his wife was unable to bear him a healthy child, or son for that matter, Ameliaâs husband left her. He divorced her and removed Ameliaâs name from everything that had to do with him.
Losing her husband didnât deter Amelia too much, for she had then fallen out of love with him. She was more so mournful over her stillborn daughter, whom she was planning to name Catharine. Even with a big pile on her hands, Amelia had pushed herself to start over and get herself a new career. This would eventually lead her into gaining an interest in detective work.
By the age of twenty-nine, Amelia had become an official member of the Concordian Flying Squad. Welcomed with open arms; Amelia began to be referred to as the shortened version of her name, Emily, as she personally felt as if Amelia could be recognized as too formal.
Things would end happily for Amelia, as she went on to have a long and successful life and career as a detective. She found love again and eventually went on to marry her colleague, the Concordian Flying Squadâs coroner, Richard Wells. They went on to have seven children and a happy married life together.
Amelia would eventually pass away on September 16, 1946 at the age of 80.

Exactly forty-six years after Ameliaâs death, a baby girl, Emily Catharine Kates, was born. Emily was named after both her great-great-grandmother and the daughter Amelia had formerly lost.
