Exceptional X-Men #1 (2024)
written by Eve L. Ewing art by Carmen Carnero & Nolan Woodard

Babes, new characters to pick from and make your fave, that only three other people will remember in five years, just dropped.
I'm starting to see posts about "canon vs. fanon" going around Twitter and FB, and some of y'all have no idea what "fanon" is.
The "fanon" side of things lists stuff, using the Emma Frost version I saw as an example, "inappropriately dressed" "Shaw's sexy henchwoman" "once a villain always a villain".
And, no. That is not "fanon". Fan is shit that fans think up for characters. No ACTUAL fans of Emma Frost are down with that (Well...I'm sure SOMEONE is, there's always someone, isn't there?)
Those are misconceptions. Not "fanon".
This new meme format is gonna piss me off.

It's been soo long but I did an xmen fashion zine a while ago! I got to draw Top Madame Emma Frost in 90s Mugler, heavily inspired by the theatrics of power dressing.
