Help Khalid Sisters in Gaza not to be Homeless
Hello Dear,
We, (Najwa, Jana, Farah, and Maryam), are the sisters of Shaheed Khalid Saed Ash-Shawwah, who was martyred on 07/31/24 along with Al Jazeera correspondent Ismail Al-Ghoul and his colleague, photographer Rami Al-Rifi . Khalid was our older and only brother and he was a great support for us and others. As you may heard Khalid’s story in the news, he was bombed while he was riding his bicycle coming back from delivering food to our old and injured neighbors.
Before the IDF forces killed our brother Khalid, they forced us to evacuate our house and left everything behind. They then destroyed our house and our father’s restaurant. We had to move at least 10 times since every new area we seek refuge to gets bombed.
Currently, the 4 of us and our parents, are living devastating and sad life in a bombed room in Gaza. It is extremely difficult for us to get the basic needs of food, water, and shelter.
We sincerely hope you can empathize with our dire situation and consider supporting us. We are raising funds in order to be able to pay the rising cost of basic necessities in north Gaza. Our family is large and the cost of survival in north Gaza is astronomical. If you have anything you can spare, we implore you to support us. From where you are right now, you personally can help save our lives in north Gaza.

he is currently responsible for their safety during the genocide, as well as for his wife and his two elderly parents. his family has been displaced NINE TIMES, and they struggle every day in the face of death, injury, disease, and lack of basic necessities like food, clean water, and medical care. muhammad hesitated at first to begin fundraising to leave gaza, but after losing friends and loved ones to the genocide, the thought of losing his family became too much to bear.

Persona 4 inspired Miraculous AU where the characters need to accept that their akuma is a reflection of a real part of themself that they suppress in order to be able to use a miraculous
I feel like canon doesn’t really delve into the extent to which akumas are a reflection of their victim. There’s the angle that they’re an embodiment of the victim’s true feeling, but there’s also the angle of them being “person except evil”.
I think it would be cool to have an AU where the akumas are strictly exaggerations of the negative emotions that caused them, like the shadows in Persona 4, and the only way to truly defeat them is to accept that they are part of the victim’s true self. This would help with the “life lesson of the day” format because the characters would apply the acknowledgment of their own feelings to whatever problem that caused the akumatization.
Now about the idea of gaining powers as a result of accepting the akuma, I wouldn’t want literally everyone to be a miraculous holder and stuff, so there are two ways I can see this being structured.
Canon convergent version: accepting your akuma gives you the potential to use a miraculous. The miracle box exists as it does in canon with the same jewels and everything, but someone would need to unlock their own potential first in order to physically use one.
Canon divergent version: this would be more like the plot of Persona 4. Only the characters who become superheroes in canon get akumatized in the first place. Defeating the akuma would cause it to transform into their kwami. Their hero costumes would be like the phantom thief costumes in P5 in that they reflect what each person sees as a “hero”.
And then there’s the full p4 AU where the miraculous don’t exist at all and the characters have actual personas based off their akumas/shadows.
In both of those, Marinette and Adrien would inherently have powers already like P4MC because they’re already true to themselves. In the canon deviant one, they would be Wild Cards as they can unify miraculous, using more than one at a time.
Hawkmoth could go a couple different ways. He could have also accepted his true self without the help of an akuma, and is using his power to create akumas in the first place. OR akumas could be something that just exist on a spiritual plane, and he is harnessing them for evil. They could represent a hive mind-like deity that feeds off the negative emotions of humanity, making them the true villain, only using Hawkmoth to amplify and spread negativity.
Of course, Marinette gets knocked down fighting them in the final battle and hears supportive messages from all her friends echo through her head, giving her the strength to harness the ultimate power of love and friendship to crush them once and for all.
I just fully realise that my primary school gave me trauma. I really long time was afraid to say anything in class + my mom was screming at my when she was helping me with math homework (now I have a lot better contact with her btw) and now when someone says something to me in a louder tone, I feel like crying.
