Aside from the blatant contradiction in motives, why is creepypasta Masky kind of an ass or just indifferent? Even if you don’t subscribe to the interpretation of Masky as an alter, Tim himself just calls people (mostly Jay) out on their bullshit and can be apathetic at times but, overall, is probably the most considerate guy in MH. Sure a lot of those teenagers in CP may have body counts, but the man grew up in a mental hospital, you can’t convince me he wouldn’t unconsciously adopt most of those troubled kids or at least try to help them. 

Hoody is also either characterised as the calm and level-headed or the mysterious non-verbal fella that’s just there. I’m sorry but Brian ‘Hoody’ Thomas is actually feral. An absolute menace. Intelligent sure, but the TTA videos alone should give an indicator on how dramatic and much of an instigator he can be. 

It’s kind of a shame cause there is a lot of untapped found family potential post-MH where Tim (and the MH crew if it’s an everyone lives au) stumbles upon other victims of TO or the supernatural in general.
