A/n: I was reading @blazogirlsoneshots “My Jacket!” and I was inspired

You did it. You finally did it. I know what your thinking. Your thinking, ‘Oh! What’d she do? I wanna celebrate.’ But this is nothing to celebrate. It’s something to mourn. You had just killed yourself. Did I leave a note? Yes. Because you couldn’t leave your baby sister on her own, without an explanation.

Ziva’s perspective

I entered the apartment, stopping at the body.

“I’m sorry, Ziver.” Gibbs whispered, pulling you into a hug. You felt yourself start to cry. Soon Tim spoke up,

“Boss, there’s a note.” You broke the hug and ran over yanking the note out of his hand. I began to read it,

“I know I always say, ‘A suicide is never a suicide.’ but this time? This time it is, I killed myself.

Tim, you were like brother to me. A geeky brother who no matter how much they were picked on, still continued to express how they felt about it. You always knew how to cheer me up, and I thank you for that.

Tony, you were also like a brother to me. I love how you know so much movie trivia and never hesitate to share. I saw so many movies because of you. Thank you.

Jethro, it’s time to come clean. Surprise! Jethro and I are dating. Although you may have known because I called him Jethro. I love you, and I’m so sorry to do this to you again. Just remember the happy times, please. Also, I’m sorry I committed suicide before your proposal but I couldn’t see you proposing and me having the guts to do this. Yes, I saw the ring and it was absolutely beautiful but next time, try hiding it better. One thing I’m always going to haunt you with is that it’s okay to cry. I love you.

And Ziva, I’m so sorry but I couldn’t take it. I felt alone no matter how much you all said I wasn’t. I know nothing can fully heal the pain of me being gone, but I still have the jacket you loved. You can have since I won’t need it anymore. I love you my baby sister. Don’t ever forget that.

I love you all but this is my goodbye.~Y/n.” I set the note down and ran to her room and opened up her closet, grabbing out the jacket. A was a light blue denim jacket, y/n’s favorite.

“Ziva? Seriously?! You can’t just take my jacket whenever you want.” You stated, annoyed.

“But it looks so nice on me.” She said.

“Ziva give me my jacket back, I got plans and my ride will be here any minute.”

“No.”

“Yes.” I grabbed onto the her arm, “Give me my jacket.”

I clutched the jacket and flopped onto her bed. I laid there and allowed myself to cry.

Gibbs perspective

You saw the almost empty bottle of bourbon by her body. It made me feel guilty as y/n never drank until her and Ziva joined the team. Or more specifically, when you fell in love with him.

“Jethro?” Ducky called.

“Yeah Duck?” He asked, turning to face him. He rolled up your sleeves to show your arms littered in scars. Some were as fresh as moments before you died. Palmer stuck his hand into her pocket, pulling out y/n’s favorite pocket knife. What made it so special? It was one you had given to her. You grabbed it from him, and revealed the tip of the knife covered in blood. Your heart sank knowing your gift to her got her here. Dead.

Gibbs may have put on a strong face, but that night when he went home, he finally allowed himself to cry. Cry because he promised to protect you, how was he gonna protect anyone if he couldn’t have protected you from yourself. He walked downstairs to the basement, and dug through his glass jar of washers that he’d hid the ring in. That way it wasn’t bulky and hard to hide. He pulled it out and stared at it, imagining what you would have said.

Except when you were doing the horizontal salsa, or anything else that really needed you both to be serious. You were red, and Ziva was blue. You knew Ziva was gonna target you, she’s a ninja and if anything she’s going for you and you only. You walked into and corner and peered around the wall, checking or Ziva. Suddenly you were shoved into a corner. It was Ziva. Shit. She pulled you into a kiss, a quick and soft kiss. Once she pulled away she shot you.

“You fucker. Run.” You said with a smirk. She chuckled before disappearing into the laser tag set.
