I can't prove it, but this is canon.
i totally get venting about facing microaggressions in public for using a mobility aid, and i've totally done it myself, but after talking with some disabled people who are afraid to start using canes or rollators or wheelchairs because they're worried about people being assholes to them in public, i want to reiterate that my rollator changed my life and that the amount of harassment i've faced is frankly negligible.
anyway today i was able to take the train to physical therapy by myself, and stopped for coffee on the way back, and nothing bad happened and it was a beautiful day.
other mobility aid users feel free to share your stories about why it's worth it.

i can’t think about ferb or i get emotional about how phineas always makes sure to include him and even though they don’t talk so much the rest of the gang clearly enjoys his company and like. he’s a valued member of any group he’s in despite having a quieter presence. he has a flat affect but he isn’t made out to be emotionless. not even a little! he very much has a personality.
no one ever pushes him to talk more than he’s comfortable with. are there jokes about his quietness? sure. but they’re never mean. even in the group musical numbers! the kids perform a song together, but ferb doesn’t have to sing even when everyone else does, but he’s still there dancing / playing instruments with the rest of them. he’s included!!!
a lot of his lines are to share some fact that he thinks is interesting. he’s a genius. he’s a silly kid. he’s musically gifted. he wants to direct movies. he hates being interrupted.

genuinely don’t understand people who trigger tag the crimes iof is committing in Palestine. don’t give me that “I came on here to have fun” type shit. the depth of apathy you have to be in order to think of that tag and type it out is unfathomable.
my friends’ families have been starving for months. my friend lost contact with his family because of a bombing at his camp yesterday and this has happened every two or three days for the past month.
this is SUPPOSED to make you feel uncomfortable. the u.s. is actively arming warplanes and manufacturing 1-ton bombs that literally incinerate anything within the blast radius. drones follow children around wherever they go. iof planes has been targeting water distribution centers, bread lines, and schools for almost an year now.
what can we say to make you understand this is something you have to help with, because you are benefitting from global imperialism and the violent subjugation and genocide of a people? why do you only feel like virtual signaling when you clearly don’t believe it? what does it take for you to CARE about children and families bombed and injured and dead just for lining up for bread?
anyway PLEASE donate to Hazem, his parents after the bombings asked him to increase their goal to 70k because his 5 younger siblings are extremely malnourished. the family only received €40 in the past 4 hours, donate what you can

Birthday gift
I decided to make a new Tumblr blog to document my bookbinding journey. I've been in and out of the hobby and now that I have a job I'm going all in. For my first real project, I'm transcribing the entirety of the TMA transcripts into book form. I'm not personally in the fandom (I'm not big on audio stories being kinda deaf and all that jazz) but my boyfriend is. That being said, I do plan on reading the entire series once its printed. The original intention was to make the book and give it to my boyfriend bc I know this is maybe a book he'd read. The book was also supposed to contain the Leitner rant and brutal pipe murder joke at the end. I decided to split it into five separate books, for my sanity and to give me practice with smaller books. AMA you'd like if you want more clarification on any part!
