HEY MELBOURNE PEEPS: COME SEE MY NEW FILM BEFORE THE INTERNET DOES. Hello friends! My new film, The Elephant's Garden, finally exists! It shall be on the internet soon enough for you all to see, I promise. But It just so happens that the film in question is my graduation film, and those of you in MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA should come and see my film, along with many other wonderful films by my classmates, at our graduation screenings! There are two screenings- the first is a more casual event; just a cute little venue with some projectors playin' our films, and lots of animators and other cool people mingling and drinking and I think there'll be snacks and stuff. This one is happenin on the 14th of November, 4pm til late, at 18 Dawson Street, Brunswick The second screening is a bit more formal, with an actual cinema and stuff. Less mingling and drinking, but probably a much better viewing experience. They won't be playing all the films at this one, just a selection of them, but they asked for some screenshots of my film for promotional images so I'm gonna go ahead and assume I made the cut. (I'll let you know if it turns out I didn't.) And this one is on the 19th of November, 5:30pm, at ACMI in Federation Square, Flinders Street.
So yes! Anyone in MELBOURNE have I said that enough MELBOURNE MELBOURNE MELBOURNE STOP SCROLLING who does come along, feel free to come over and say hi if you see me there! But if you do, then please tell me you're from the internet, otherwise I'll assume we've met before and I've forgotten who you are and I'll be all "heyyyy.... guy" and it'll be confusing and uncomfortable for everyone involved. SEE YA THERE

My new film is out!!! It's got elephants in it, and some other things too. Enjoy! P.S. It's my birthday

I scanned some things so I could briefly stop thinking about whatever it is I'm meant to be doing
HOW DARE YOU SPEAK AGAINST THE GLORY OF THE TURDUCKEN! HOW CAN YOU NOT LIKE A CHICKEN STUFFED INTO A DUCK STUFFED INTO A MOTHER FUCKING TURKEY!?!?!?! THAT SHIT IS PERFECTION, AND YOU ARE UNFOLLOWED!
"I know longer wish to see your art, due to differing views on excessive meat dishes."Unrelatedly, this is my duck, Lady Guinevere.
What was a major influence on your style (if any)?
'A' major influence, so like, just one at random? Alright then, Croc. As in the game, Croc. Prequel to Croc 2, you know the one. It was installed on my computer when I was a little kid but I didn't have the disc, so when I played it there was never any music- nothing to try and communicate any sort of 'mood'. It was just this quiet whimsical, charming place that I always wanted to wander around in and look at stuff, but then things in it would kill me, and that genuinely scared me. There's a very specific mood there, this sort of 'whimsical but mildly-threatening'. I think a lot of how my style has developed over the years, has been designed to lend itself to that mood. Regardless of the mood of the individual piece, I'm always aware of it lurking slightly in my sensibilities.

Just finished making a cool new thing. It's cool and new. Out soon probably, stay tuned.
