You're currently minding your own business, spending some time with your husband in trying questionable things Penacony dreamscapes had to offer. 

“Honey, try this ice cream, it's delicious!” Aventurine shoves the snack in front of your face. You giggled at his antics, pushing the cone away from your face. 

“Really? Your face literally flinches when you take a bite, I'm not sure if what you say is true,” You pinched his soft cheek lightly, earning a lengthy whine from the blond. Aventurine makes the ice cream disappear since he probably doesn't want to finish it too. Spot on. 

“I thought I hid it well,” he leans his face closer to your hand, indulging himself in your soft touches. 

“You still have a long way to go, luv,” 

“Well, well, who thought that the creep actually has bitches?” an unfamiliar voice came from behind you. The two of you instantly turn around the source of sound. Aventurine crosses his arms in front of his chest. You took in his defensive state and you kept your hands on the tip of your shirt. 

“That's kind of improper to say it like that, don't you think? She's my wife,” Aventurine's business smile didn't falter as he proudly introduced you. 

“Wife?! What kind of person would want to marry someone like you?” Sparkle took a good look at you, examining your appearance and your beautiful smile… What the hell… So pretty… 

“You're so pretty… why would you want to marry someone like this pathetic peacock?” you smiled at her question, rubbing your chin with your right hand in the process. 

“Why wouldn't I? He's charming and also rich, I can't see why not,” Aventurine had to hold himself from giggling by how happy your words made him. 

“Charming? Huh, how much did he pay you to say that?” Your face didn't flinch even a bit. 

“Did he force you to marry him because he paid your debt? Poor you! You deserve way better. And if you were to have kids, surely they would have his filthy blood. After all, even when his eyes are pretty, they never went well. Sigonians and their despicable nature should never touch such beauty like yours. So dazzling and well mannered. Did he threaten you with a knife when he proposed to you? Poor, poor thing, I'll help you get away from him if you ask me nicely!” Sparkle cheered, clinging to your arm while Aventurine physically trembled. He can take it if it's all about him, but if you're added to the picture? It won't end well with him. 

“So what do you say? My offer still stands!” The smaller lady giggles happily. You still keep your polite smile but Aventurine can feel that something isn't right. 

“What do I say?” you turn your gaze to her. The atmosphere drops in an instant, but Sparkle didn't choose to back away. 

“So you think this is funny, hmm?” You moved your hand to cup her face, eyes completely blank it could rival the abyss. The masked fool feels shiver down her spine and it's unpleasant. 

“I'm not sure who raised you, but they're doing a terrible job,” The usually pleasant smile turns sinister in such a small time, even Aventurine flinches at the sight. 

“A girl, looking for validation. Changing masks and faces anytime she wants. As expected from the masked fools,” You stroked her cheek so tenderly, in contrast with the venomous tone and piercing gaze. 

“Or were you just looking for attention you never received throughout your life? So unprovoked, picking on a man like you're the most saint of it all. Maybe you should get yourself lobotomized so you can continue your study, consider giving your life some meaning, wouldn't that be pleasant? Want me to help you with that? An eye for an eye,” Aventurine witnessed how the color from Sparkle's face drained down to a ghostly pale, as if she had seen a literal walking corpse in its most gruesome form. 

“You-” The said girl stepped away from your touch, utterly speechless. 

“Do you have anything more to say about Aventurine?” Your smile went back to the usual soft one, as if nothing had happened before. The masked fool ran scurried away from you, leaving the two of you alone. You turned your face back to your husband where he almost jumped away out of surprise. 

“Is something the matter, dear?”

“I think I do need to learn a lot more from you…”

I think Aventurine being afraid of his own wife (in an endearing way, he loves her too much to mess anything up) is somewhat cute I wanna write more about it

Imagine giving your boyfriend, Dr. Ratio a rubber duck that looks like him as a joke. He does make a comment saying it's idiotic, but he actually keeps it in his bathtub. Every time he looks at it while he's bathing, it makes him feel a warmth in his chest because it's a personalized gift you got just for him. You notice it hanging on the side of the tub the next time you bathe with him and tease him for it. "Hm. I guess it wasn't that idiotic of a present since you kept it in one of your most sacred places." He just ignores your teasing and continues reading his book.

The next time you two decided to take a bath together to relax, you notice another rubber duckie next to the one you gifted him and it looks just like you. You make a comment on it and he's nonchalant about it. His reasoning being "It seemed fitting that you should have one as well since we usually bathe together". All you can do is blush, taken by surprise from his words. He notices this and smirks. "What's wrong dear? Too shy to give one of your teasing remark?" All you can do is look away, moving back to lay on his chest. You quietly say, "It's cute." He slightly chuckles, a fond look graces his features. He wraps his arm around you, bringing you closer into him and rests his face into your hair, leaving a faint kiss to the crown of your head.

-he’s a stern and cruel man, that’s for sure

-but his habits might change depending on how close you and him are

-if you’re a minion, expect lots of training and harsh scolding if you did something wrong

-also he might threaten to kill you if you keep making mistakes

-(I’m sorry he’s just seems toxic but I can see him being nice too?)

-if you’re his assistant, he’ll be strict and give you tons of work to do

-he’ll expect you to handle every single one of his orders, unless you want punishment

-when working almost 24/7 daily, you pass out. And he notices, instead of waking you up immediately, he’ll lay you down on a couch to rest comfortably

-he wouldn’t know why he would do that instead of being cruel

-he would suspect that you secretly put a spell on him, but he denies it since he would’ve known way earlier

-after you recover, he would be less harsh on you and even offer taking care some of your work, you even started to question yourself whether this is a dream or not
