UGH, HE COULD TELL that Enkidu was enjoying his fidgeting, the other’s gaze and body language that of one who saw an animal in its natural environment and now wished to examine their behavior. It was enough to make him cease his gentle thumping against his chair, a slight pout almost present though he did his best to keep some kind of regality in the presence of his fellow Servant. ❝…Play a game, you say?❞ There was a pause as if Ozymandias was thinking about it; however, in actuality, he did not want to give a ‘yes’ too quickly, lest he further amuse the Lancer.
❝Very well. I will accept this. What kind of games did you often play with Gilgamesh? I imagine he had moments where he was quite bored and you had to find a means to drag his attention elsewhere.❞ Did Enkidu ever grow bored? It was so hard to read him sometimes. Not because he purposely made himself this way. Simply because the nature of his thoughts often escaped most.
Where others were boisterous, Enkidu was soft smiles and careful words. Verbal cues misleading with eyes all too clever. They were instinct and understanding ( a knowledge innate, gifted purpose ). To see the pharaoh pouting --- incessant movement --- was enough to keep them entertained. But then again, they were content to watch grass grow. Chin propped on hand, head tilted ( curious ). They did not judge, no need for such things, but they were sure to not cause unintended harm. Words were powerful weapons; wielded without much through by many. It was only in good fun if both parties found such choices comical.
❝ Gilgamesh is one of constant movement, he knew what he wanted and when he wanted it. My king is not one who sought other’s opinions but more so demanded their attention. I can certainly drag his attention elsewhere, but games played with him were not of the sort I think you will find most amusing. ❞ A thoughtful noise, a cheshire grin. ❝ I’m sure Master has a deck of cards somewhere. I have recently learned how to play spit --- a terribly fast paced game. Do you care to try ?? I cannot guarantee you will win. If you do not find that to your tastes I hear there’s a game called “I Spy” where we try to guess what the other has found. ❞

❝ Biologically speaking, something that functions as well as Enkidu formed from clay should not be possible. But alas, this is the same facility where I can walk the halls alongside gods and monsters. Magecraft in of itself is… interesting, to say the least. I’ve no qualms with them, only curiosity as how they came to be, yet I imagine that asking my gratuitous inquiries would be… unseemly… especially after they were patient with me and summarized to the best of their capabilities. They are… jarring in their own way, like thunder hitting the ground, I suppose. Bah! Don’t look at me like that, Master, I haven’t written proper poetry in years, alright? ❞

❝AHAHAHA! WORDS SO VERY much you, Enkidu!❞ Would his brother have liked speaking to this being? More than likely. The neutrality of their temperament made it so they were easy to speak to. There was no judgement. Only quiet contemplation. This alone would always grant the Pharaoh a great deal of comfort. ❝Well then, I am glad that my presence offers you something just as yours offers something to me.❞ That something just being companionship overall. A silly and simple thing for a pharaoh to treasure out of his immense wealth, yet treasure it Ozymandias did. ❝This makes me wonder…when you look at the birds, what do they say to you? I see you smile as if they said something truly beautiful.❞
Quiet, momentary contemplation. Gaze turned skyward with a half placed smile. Birds were but the most wonderful creatures --- feathers brandished in joyful song --- coasting on winds blown far and wide. A creature free in all senses. The call of one but the greatest of the world’s instruments ( a gurgling stream, the patter of rain ). ❝ They speak of places beyond us, of journeys and trials. They tell me words I cannot explain through emotions all too bright. Their beauty is in their wings. Tell me Ozymandias --- have you not looked to the birds and seen their freedom ?? their joy in the journey ?? how they seek the wind in their plumage. A bird is beautiful for its song raises on the breeze with happiness in its heart. ❞ A quiet laugh, leaning forward. Catching golden eyes with their own forest. There is pause in their ministrations, the chime of their voice a happy note. ❝ When you listen, there is much to learn. Nature can be a loving yet brutal guide. ❞ Gentle tug ( almost nonexistent ) as Enkidu returns to braiding with the floating, whimsical feeling of good humor. Smile shining in their eyes. ❝ The next time you see a bird, ask for its story and it will grant you a song. ❞
casual reminder Enki is a divine construct formed by the gods out of clay and they do not have a gender ( in fate canon ) nor do they care about gender. they will not correct you because ?? they could care less but my nonbinary ass gets a bit peeve at the erasure of such things. ic they do not mind assumptions ( it happens ) but ooc I do rip

An endless forest meets ocean depths; ancient eyes recognizing another. Enkidu all too amused ( curious ) about the one before them. Sea stained breeze permeating the air. A god. A simple understanding for one shaped by the divine; gods necessary even in their impertinence to their creations. Though, his was not one of their own. ❝ And you are. ❞ Cautious gaze --- grass green of their hair starting to float in the static. It was unwise to partake in another's pantheon ( they had fallen once to a god, they would not again ).
like this for a starter !! ( they wont be to long but... )
