* RHYS.

‘is your hair naturally green?’ the question had tumbled out of rhys’ mouth before he could stop it. he wasn’t no- rmally one to speak up at all, especially towards a stra- nger. but their presence was… different. the witch could tell, even now. something about them felt off, and he had to know. ‘sorry,’ he said finally, offering a disarming smile. ‘i don’t see any roots. either you’re really good at dyeing it, or it’s… natural.’

Curious sun-streaked forest turns on the other, tilt to the head. A study paired with a hum. Absentmindedly ( a brush of clay ) fingers play with strands of grass. ❝ It is natural, yes. There is no need to apologize. ❞ Dash of magic speaking to them --- a presence easily felt. Enkidu knew of magics ( a being forged of such, from an age long past ). Twisting cascade of green round earthen hands; a gentle smile. ❝ I would never dye it. ❞

Gentle reminder that there is nothing wrong with talking to and wishing on stars.
They are kind. They are millions of years old and will gladly sit and listen to your every word. Even after they are gone they will still remain for centuries more, watching over you as your guiding light. The stars are your friend, your confidants. Talk to them, they will listen.

Percy didn't even question it, leaning over them with a hum ( clear ocean meeting sunlight forest ). smile bright. precious moments of silence before a cascade of green and gold toppled into the other's hair with a burst of iridescent sparkle. making an utter mess. cheeky laughter as the demigod tousled waves of grass with glitter stained hands. oh well.

Their own silence broken by footsteps, peering up and over at the approach. Curiosity in their gaze ( Enkidu offering the demigod a soft smile in greeting ). Content noise cut off by wisps of glitter bursting across their vision --- myriad of color raining down around their seated position. Proceeding to let out a volley of sneezes while a hand mused their hair. Fingers finding their way up to brush speckled intrusions from their eyes, watching as the color mingled with the small piled surrounding them. It wasn’t a horrible addiction, in all honesty; they thought it added a bit of vibrancy. ❝ Is this a common tradition ?? ❞ Their own glitter stained hands returning the favor --- adding some color to the demigods hair as well.
