may i perhaps request our beloved itto with a cat hybrid!gn!reader? reader is of relatively high status and has quite a reputation to their name, thus they have appearances to maintain, but itto with his overbearing self manages to bring out their true personality when they spend time together - true personality as in easily flustered, prideful, teasing and somewhat tsundere-ish. How it started:

• Originally, when Itto first saw you, he wasn't too impressed. He thought you were just like all the other members of the rich crowd that you were standing in, those who would look down on him for his less-than-pristine status, and that's just not his scene. It doesn't suit his energy.

• And while he could appreciate your perfect posture and elegant movements, what he found more interesting about you were your more... cat-like features. Your fluffy ears and tail, which showed your true reactions to the people around you. No matter what emotion you'd trained onto your face, even from a distance he knew how you really felt just from a flick of your tail or flattened ears.

• Now, as for the actual relationship, it probably took a few months after your first meeting to take off. Most likely, you would bump into each other about 3 times, not coming away with a very good impression. The first few times he definitely made you uncomfortable in some way, whether that be by doing something awkward, or he said something that came across as rude, making you put up your defensive walls. Because of this, you didn't go out of your way to meet up with him again.

• Eventually, he somehow manages to find you without any company around and you spend the evening together, growing closer as the night sky leads you both to open up to each other.

• He tones his energy down a bit, (which proves to be a bit of a struggle for him) as he knows that you're kinda important and he actually likes you so he doesn't want to scare you away.

• Itto is the type to sneak up and scare you in public when you don't know he's there. He's probably accidentally done this while you had guards with you, and you had to fumble to assure them that you did know him, and that he wasn't trying to kidnap you before they attacked him or got him arrested. Or both.

• If you live with family, he will absolutely climb through your window, just because. He has permission to use the front door? He's coming through the window. Nobody else is home? He's coming through the window anyway. It's literally the middle of the day, everyone can see? Well... you get the idea.

It probably also makes him feel a bit more connected to you, seeing as cats do this, too... just don't tell him that you don't climb through windows, 'cause that's exactly what he'll try getting you to do. • If you have to make public appearances for family or business functions, you can bet he will be hiding in the crowd somewhere. If he doesn't stick out too much, he'll be somewhere you can see him easily enough, trying to grab your attention by making over-the-top gestures and just overall being kinda silly, as usual. He does this at least once before you end up having to tell him that he can't do that in public, as much as it did cheer you up.

• Eventually, you manage to convince someone (probably a guard you're close to) to let him wait for you in your room. When you get back, he'll spend the entire time complimenting you about how well you handled the situation (of course, he was just testing you... totally...) and laughing about your shocked reactions. "Haha! You should'a seen your face! That tail o' yours was striking out every-which-way!"

• Depending on how you react the first time he does it, Itto will pull on your tail every now and then as a means to tease you. He likes the way that it makes you blush instantly, eyes looking around at the people around you, hoping that no-one noticed the way your entire body instantly stiffened, before shooting him a warning glare that he just replies to with a cheeky grin.

• But in the end, you're grateful that your relationship with the oni got found out.
