Apparently all I needed was more than 4 or 5 hours of sleep (what I've been getting while my body tries to adjust to getting up at 5 am rather than 8) and an Advil Cold (which I took after I made my whiny post). I felt kinda crappy when I got up, but now that I've been up a while, I'm feeling significantly better.
Its only the second day of NaNoWriMo and I find myself sick. Like…whatever I got has settled into my chest really fast. I was fine yesterday night, woke up this morning feeling a little bleh, really feverish by lunch, and now I am fatigued and my chest aches and I can’t get comfortable to fall asleep. I feel like shit.
And to make matters worse, today was my first day as a permanent employee at the place I was temping at. Not gonna look real good if I’m taking sick time already…
