Oi Aggie, Were Not Buyin Filet Mignon For The Cats. Wet Food Is Enough For Them.
“Oi Aggie, we’re not buyin’ filet mignon for the cats. Wet food is enough for them.”

did she put said filet mignon into the cart to see if he'd notice? maybe. " aw, babe, i-it's j-just as a little treat for them! " agatha already buys the best food she can get them, so she knows they don't need things like the filet mignon, but still! don't they deserve a little (slightly expensive) treat every now and again?

the faerie couldn't help but think it was adorable that, upon their arrival back on earth, the bracken basically follows her everywhere, moreso around the house. she'd cast a glance upward as he peered over her shoulder and watched her prepare breakfast and coffee, the latter of which she's enjoying now. agatha sips it once it's at the perfect temperature, delighting in its taste as she makes up a little grocery list so she can drop by the store later after work.

she pushes her glasses up her nose as she glances up when he speaks, smiling at his curiosity over her coffee. " i-it's a bit d-difficult t-to describe the taste. on its own, w-w-without s-sugar or cream, i-it's quite bitter. people drink it that way, b-b-but i-i can't. " agatha replies with a soft giggle, pushing the mug toward her mate now. " i-it's s-sweet and creamy now, b-but i tend to put too much in it. " it was the only way she could get paste that bitter flavor. " w-what do you think? "

he tiled his head slightly, glowing eyes watching her curiously as she lifted the mug to her lips. it had been a few months since he managed to assume a human form, and he was currently living with agatha, a cute little fae that he's claimed as his mate, and she was currently indulging in coffee. and he was watching her closely through the entire process. watching as she made it, put sugar in it, creamer -- the kitchen smelled of it, he noticed, overtaking the smell of breakfast ( she made him hashbrowns, bacon and eggs -- they were pretty good, he determined ).
" what does it taste like? " his voice, though not as deep, still reverbed lowly against the air. it had taken him a few minutes to figure out how to utilize vocal chords, " may i try it? " it smelled organic at the very least, but it was an unfamiliar earthy smell.

finding alternative faceclaims for agatha has made me painfully tempted to give her straight hair
" i was on a mission, but it didn't last as long as anticipated, so i came back when i was allowed to do so. " it's probably clear enough by now to alucard that, by her detached tone, she's elsewhere at the moment. somewhere in her mind of course, worrying over things that doesn't really need worrying about. agatha's gaze flickers elsewhere as she stands there by his coffin, wringing her hands. she could come to him about her worries because she knows alucard won't bullshit her. he'll be blunt and straight to the point. he might even laugh, but still, he always gave her an honest answer. " alucard, " the faerie looks at him now, only just making out the silhouette of his resting form in the darkness.

" am i useful here? am i useful to the organization? "

@fiorserpen stepped into the darkness . . .

THE FACT SHE SOUGHT HIM OUT THIS LATE WAS NOT NEW. It was his domain, his forbidden heaven. Her nearing steps deeper into the chambers of his coffin, he would peek through one eye once she was close enough. [ She grows by the day, he stays the same. Does she notice that? ] Both eyes came to a close once his voice breaks the silence. ❝ What brings you here tonight? I believed you were on a mission from what Master Integra mentioned. ❞
