I decided to draw my interpretation of Clemencia from the Heroic AU. I’ve noticed people coming up with their own designs for the Heroic AU characters so I decided I would do that too.

The two men rose their heads once Risto cleared his throat, along with Gertrude, turning to face him with a confused look while the villagers went pale with fear.

“What is it, sir?”

She began making her way back to him, concerned, as the slightly drunken villagers hurriedly sealed what they had opened, put it back in her case, and quietly snuck up behind her, setting it down behind her as silently as they could.

Both of them began to back away whilst giving Risto a silent, pleading look, as if using their eyes to ask him not to swiftly devour them for stealing from the saleswoman who was still blissfully unaware she almost lost all of her products.

Gertrude carefully tapped the ground of Marrow’s Gate with her cane, trying her best to locate where she should exactly go. She wasn’t just trying to go to some building, she was trying figure out where the monster she had heard of resided.

The old beast “Risto.” Such a creature the sightless woman only knew of through conversations with her customers over steaming hot tea. They had dared not describe anything about him except for the mere danger confronting him would bring. Unfortunately they just fed Gertrude’s desire to meet this beast for herself. Even if it meant sudden death, she hadn’t necessarily thought she would have anything left to lose.

Once her ears picked up the sounds of waves, she sat down, putting her cane in her lap as her cloudy cataracts gazed blankly into the sea. None of the locals approached the eccentric saleswoman, her talk of meeting the beast was enough to convince them her confidence that she shall live to tell the tale will be her own undoing.

Shaking her head a bit to get back on track she shakily stood back up, forgetting her cane that was slowly getting swept into the ocean. “Ah! Yes! I almost forgot! My case should be here somewhere...”

Gertrude walked around, kind of waiting for her suitcase of alcohol to bump into her foot, but was given no such luck. And because she was blind, she couldn’t see the pair of villagers raiding her singular luggage off to the side, taking a few swigs of her products.
