I Love This Line And This Scene In General So Much. They're Trying To Figure Out What "hour Be None"

i love this line and this scene in general so much. they're trying to figure out what "hour be none" means and reid walks in and gives the answer (with some mostly unnecessary but endearing additional info) and elle responds so affectionately. i really loved their dynamic, however you view it.

headcanon that at some point in reid's early childhood (prior to his dad leaving and probably when he was too young to really understand what was happening), diana spent some time in a psychiatric hospital for one reason or another. (a suicide attempt, a severe episode, a time when she couldn't care for herself, etc)

this has occurred to me before but it popped back into my brain because i listened to my mom by kimya dawson (i love them) and the chorus. its devastating in any context honestly:

JJ: Garcia... [Garcia rolls her chair over to a pencil cup holder at the opposite end of her desk...and knocks it over] Garcia: [gasping] Okay. [The screens turn back to the FBI database] JJ: Oh, that's too bad. GARCIA: [spinning around in her chair and holding her hand out to the screen] Sleep well, sweet prince. JJ: [standing up and taking Garcia's hand] Good night, crazy person. [patting her arm] Good night.

bonus: Garcia's expression when JJ is holding her hand/patting her arm:

every day i think about elle and morgan going on vacation together and at least morgan wanting reid to come with. what were their intentions. were they bisexual in nature. also im also almost certain that this is the first time morgan calls reid "pretty boy" and it's while he's inviting him on vacation with him. it's 2005/2006 you cannot be this bisexual at your government job.

just a heads up i will not be doing s01e19 machismo tomorrow because i think it's a bad episode for a few reasons. instead im just going to skip straight to s01e20 charm and harm.

morgan's reaction to hearing that elle has been shot. god. goddd. their relationship is so incredibly underrated they were such good friends.
