(prompt: I am a klutz and slipped on the ice so now I’m in the ER and oh no the doctor is really cute.)
a/n: I guess it’s technically just Fluffuary now rather than Fluffmas but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Also the title has absolutely no bearing on the story but at this point I don’t have the energy to change it.

The last place you want to be on one of the few, precious days of winter break is the emergency room, but that’s exactly where you find yourself. Even though Christmas was over a week ago, the hospital still has decorations hung up, and carols are playing in the background. It could also be the shooting pain in your ankle, but it kind of makes you want to hurl.
“If only I had been filming!” Your friend laments. “I’m pretty sure you did a flip in the air before you landed. I could’ve uploaded it on Tik Tok. You’d be famous!”
You shoot her a murderous look. “I hate Tik Tok.” You grumble. “Almost as much as I hate you.”
“There, there.” She pats your arm. “It’s just the pain talking. After they get some pain meds in you, you’ll be telling me how much you love me.”
“Doubtful.” You stick out your tongue at her. You really aren’t as mad at her as you are at yourself, and really the situation as a whole. Leave it to you to find the single icy spot left on the sidewalk and completely wipe out in front of every other pedestrian in the vicinity. Now your foot is bent away from your leg in a way that is most definitely not natural and you’ve been waiting at the ER for nearly three hours when you should be sitting in a cafe somewhere, drinking hot chocolate after a successful day of shopping. You sigh.
Just when you start to allow yourself to fully wallow in the self pity, the nurse calls your name. With the help of both your friend and the nurse, you manage to hobble to one of the curtained rooms and settle on the exam table, wincing as your ankle grazes the edge.
Two doctors enter the room, one with graying hair and a kind smile, and another with a serious expression and deep blue eyes who can’t be much older than you. He’s clutching a clipboard to his chest and watching the older doctor attentively. There’s something almost mesmerizing about those eyes, and you nearly forget why you’re even there for half a second. You quickly snap your attention to the older doctor before all the blood rushes to your cheeks. This day just keeps getting better. You muse wryly to yourself.
“Well, Akaashi. Why don’t you take a look?” The young doctor nods, turning to look you in the eye for the first time and giving you the smallest smile that’s somehow strangely reassuring.
“What happened?” He asks, fingers hovering just above your ankle as he takes a careful look.
“Um.” You swallow. “I sort of, uh, slipped on a patch of ice.” You mumble.
“I’m sorry?” He leans his head closer to your face, giving you an up-close look at his somehow perfectly sculpted features.
“I slipped.” You raise your voice a bit so that he can actually make out your words. “On some ice. My ankle kind of bent funny. It hurts pretty much.” You admit. Though it’s more of a constant ache by now, you still feel the occasional wave of pain.
“Okay.” He nods. “It looks like it may just be a bad sprain, but we’ll take an x-ray, just to be certain. The nurses will prepare you for the x-ray, and after we take a look at it we’ll have you patched up in no time.” He smiles again, slightly bigger this time. “Don’t worry.” He adds. “This kind of thing can happen to anyone. It’s nothing to be embarrassed about.”
Before you can respond or even thank him for his reassurance, the doctors are gone, and the nurses get you situated for the x-ray. It goes quickly, and before you know it you’re left waiting in the exam room for the results. The moment the nurses step out, your friend lets out a huge sigh.
“Whew! If I knew we’d be seen by Doctor Dreamy, I might’ve taken a turn on that ice patch. Did you see the smile he gave you? I would’ve died.”
“I’m still not convinced that I’m not dead. And besides, if we both had broken ankles, one of us would have been stuck with Doctor Dad.” You snort.
“Dibs on Doctor Dreamy, then.” Your friend laughs. “Too bad he didn’t even glance at me the whole time he was in here.”
“Shut up.” You give her shoulder a shove.
“I’m serious! I think he thinks you’re cute.” She waggles her eyebrows at you.
“Statistically impossible.” You shake your head. “He’s an attractive, successful man who went to medical school, and I’m a troll who can’t even walk down the street without falling on my ass.”
As if your day hadn’t already been on enough of a downward spiral, Doctor Dreamy chooses that moment to enter the room, and you can only pray that he hadn’t caught any of what you’d just said. If he did, he doesn’t give any indication.
“You’re in luck.” He smiles at you again, hanging the x-ray slide for you to see. “There’s no break. It’s just a very bad sprain. If you elevate it for the next few days and keep ice on it, you should see improvement soon.”
“Ice? I don’t know.. That’s kind of what got me into this mess.” You giggle. For a few moments, he fixes you with a wide-eyed, straight-faced look, and you’re nearly ready to contemplate finding a hole to crawl into when a smile breaks across his face, and a burst of soft, warm laughter spills out.
“I’m glad to see your sense of humor hasn’t been injured.” He takes a moment to jot something on his clipboard, the traces of his smile still on his lips. You can’t tear your eyes away. “We should be all finished here.” He looks up. “I’m sure you’re more than ready to get home. Will you be alright getting to your car?”
“Yup, I’ve got this.” Your friend helps you stand, an arm around your back.
“Thank you very much!” You bow your head slightly to him, and then to the older doctor who stands by the doorway.
“It’s no problem.” He assures, as the two of you turn to go.
You’re nearly to the car before you hear the footfalls behind you. When you turn, you’re surprised to see the young Doctor approaching you.
“Excuse me.” He’s ever so slightly out of breath. “I was just wondering if it would be alright if I gave you my phone number?” Your mouth has fallen slightly open, and you’re at a loss for words. “I’m sorry.” He says after a beat. “I know how strange this is, but since you were never actually admitted to the hospital, you’re not really my patient, and so I see no reason that I can’t ask you on a date, if you’d like.” Those eyes are fixed on you, and you can feel the heat rising in your cheeks.
“I - I would really like that.” You nod, a smile slowly reaching across your face. He returns it, and holds out a slip of paper.
“Well then, just let me know when.” You reach out for it, and his fingers brush yours.
“I will.” You clutch the paper tight, knowing you’re smiling wider by the second.
“And for the record.” He adds right before he turns to walk back into the hospital, leaving you no chance for a rebuttal, “You should really give yourself a bit more credit - I certainly wouldn’t consider you a troll.”

omg yes can i pls request akaashi with an s/o who has a size kink??? brrrrrrrrr

Anon you are waking up the sinner in me and I love you because of that
Akaashi Keiji with a s/o that has a size kink
I wouldn’t classify Keiji as one of the larger ones in the whole Haikyuu series because there are characters that are larger, taller and have more muscle to them than he does
But I will stand my ground and say he is one kinky bastard
If you aren’t upfront with him about this, don’t think he will not notice or catch on
He’d first notice when you were at practice with him, his back facing you. A perfect ball was set to Koutarou and he celebrated it with a high five.
All of his muscles must’ve shown when doing that because he could hear your sharp intake of breath and when he looked towards you, your cheeks were the prettiest shade of red he has ever seen and your legs were a tad closer to each other than usual
You couldn’t help it. The muscles in his arms would contract beautifully when he was playing and you could just imagine them gripping your body, pulling on your hair and teasing your sensitive areas
His back, in your mind, would be full of scratches because you couldn’t get enough of it (you’d beg him more often for piggyback rides just so you could feel the way his body is moving under you)
One time Bokuto gave you a piggyback ride and when he let you down Keiji noticed how your knees were shaking, your face was flaring and it seemed like all the pieces were being put together
Don’t think he hasn’t noticed how you’d intently watch him when he’s fixing his attire, how the veins in his arms would pop and your jaw would unhinge itself
He was know sure of this little kink of yours and when you were in bed the next time, it would be like this
Towering over you, it felt like Keiji put more pressure on your body and his shoulders would broaden more than they usual would. He’d be wearing a black T-shirt that always makes you drool because that was his hottest look and showcases his arms
“Do you think I wouldn’t notice?” His voice would gently caress your ear and his hand was already tightened around your hip and the other holding your wrists above your head.
You tried to play dumb, you really did, but that only made Keiji more determined to perfectly ruin you
“Notice how every time your arms are pinned above your head and I tower over you more, you delightfully shiver and can hardly keep that moan quiet?”
Leaning down, smirk evident on his face, Keiji ravished in the way your body reacted to his simple advances
“Now that we’ve established this little,” his hand moved dangerously close to your inner thigh, “liking of yours, let’s see how long you last while I deal with you?”

(prompt: You have been going crazy preparing for the holidays, just relax for a second)
a/n: 1st day of Fluffmas, here we goooo! It’s a bit on the shorter end of things, but I hope you enjoy ^^
-
Finally back at your apartment, you’re so relieved that you lean against the door for a few moments soaking in the peaceful silence. You’ve just finished elbowing your way through the Tokyo holiday crowds to finish up some Christmas shopping, and you still don’t have a gift for everyone on your list. You don’t have much time to waste, though, so you push yourself forward into the kitchen.
“Hi Kenma.” You set your bags down on the table with a thump.
“Hey, you’re home.” Kenma greets you from the living room a few feet away, and you look wistfully over at him. He looks so comfy on the sofa with his PSP and a blanket wrapped snugly around him.
“Yeah, finally.” You sigh. “I hate people.” Kenma just gives you a small, sympathetic smile and returns his attention to his game. Much as you’d love to join your boyfriend, you’ve got work to do. At least the sound effects of his game make for comforting background noise.
You gather the ingredients for your famous pumpkin pie and spread them on the counter. It’s time consuming to make, but you know how much everyone loves it. It wouldn’t be Christmas without it - that’s what your Dad always says. For him, you can suffer through making it.
The trickiest part is always the crust. Most people just buy a pre-made pie crust, but you’re too stubborn. You know it tastes better when it’s made from scratch, even if it is a pain to make. You mix the ingredients carefully as ever, but you haven’t even finished rolling it out before you can tell that it isn’t right. If you use this crust, your pie is going to be a disaster. With a growl, you hurl the hunk of dough into the trash and start fresh.
The holidays used to be so simple. When you were a kid, your Mom did all of this work, and all you had to do was write a list for Santa and enjoy your time off of school. If you were lucky, it would snow during Christmas break and you could play in it all day. You have such fond memories of Christmas, and the holidays have always been your favorite time of the year. Lately, though, you can’t help feeling that the joy is being completely sucked out of it. Maybe it’s all just a part of growing up.
When the pie is finally in the oven, you set the timer and stand back for a few moments, brushing the back of your hand across your forehead to whisk away the few beads of sweat that had gathered there. To your surprise, you turn to find that Kenma has padded out to the kitchen and is standing next to you. His blanket is still around his shoulders.
“Come sit with me.” He invites, holding out his hand to you. You shake your head.
“Can’t. I have to get dinner started now, and then there are presents to wrap. I also need to get online and order that fancy new gaming keyboard that my brother wants so that it comes in time.”
“I wasn’t asking.” He gently takes your arm when you don’t reach for his offered hand and guides you to the couch. He has the overhead lights off so that the only glow comes from the Christmas tree. It makes everything in your living room feel softer and warmer. You haven’t worked up the strength to protest yet, so Kenma tugs you down next to him on the couch and arranges his blanket around the both of you. With his arm around your middle, he pulls you close so that your head rests on his shoulder. You can’t help the sigh that escapes.
“Just relax.” He murmurs softly. “Christmas isn’t supposed to be like this.” You feel tears prickle at your eyes.
“Well, it is like this.” You whisper, voice suddenly shaky. He rests his cheek on the top of your head.
“Tomorrow, we’ll tackle everything together.” He promises. “For tonight, let’s just order takeout and admire this tree you spent three hours decorating.” The hint of laughter in his voice isn’t lost on you.
“It’s a damn nice tree.” You mumble, feeling just a tiny bit lighter already.
“It is.” He assures you. You both fall into a comfortable silence, and you actually do as he says and look your Christmas tree up and down. There are gold and silver ornaments nestled among the branches that reflect the soft white strings of lights in a muted glow. You even feel yourself smiling just a little as you take in your handiwork.
“I found this stupid t-shirt that Kuroo is gonna love.” You break the silence. “Do you want to come look at it?” Kenma hums in thought for a few moments.
“No.” He decides, snuggling a little closer to you. “Not right now.”
You’re surprised to feel relief that you won’t have to get up just yet. Kenma shifts just enough to press his lips to the top of your head in a quick kiss. Outside, the bustling city is little more than a dull roar that you barely notice. From somewhere, you hear the faint ringing of bells. Now that darkness has fallen the light from the tree has an even warmer quality. You’re warm and content, sharing a blanket with the person you love most. You find his hand and fit your fingers between his, and he gives your hand a slight squeeze. You smile to yourself. Maybe this feeling is what Christmas is all about.

I | Volleyball Whomst???
Karasuno High School. Class 1-4. It wasn't the ideal class for Corey, but it would do. It was a college prep class so her moms were more than happy when they found out. Colin was in 1-1, Carter in 1-5 (also a college prep class), and their older brother Percy was in 3-5. Without her brothers to keep her company in class, she just sat at her desk and copied what the teacher wrote.
‘Not that it would have made a difference.’
"How have your classes been?"
The Hamilton children sat in the courtyard eating their lunch. The triplets sat on a bench while Percy sat on the ground in front of them. They were allowed to either eat in their classrooms or eat in the courtyard. The Hamiltons decided to eat in the courtyard together.
"Mine was okay." Corey took a bite out of her sandwich and swallowed. "The only thing that sucks is that I sit behind this tall kid. So when the teacher wrote on the board I had to lean to the side to see!"
Colin laughed. "Sucks to be short."
"Bitch, you're not even that tall!"
"But Carter and I are taller than you- OW!"
She threw one of her sour grapes at him, hitting him in the eye. He threw one back in retaliation and she did too. This cycle of throwing grapes lasted for two minutes before Percy intervened.
"Girls, girls, you're both pretty, now stop."
They both threw grapes at him.
==========
The school day was soon over.
"Wadda wanna do after school?" Colin asked as he, Carter, and Corey skipped to the third-year classes to grab Percy, who was their ride.
"I dunno." Corey turned to skip backward. "I was just gonna binge watch some YouTube- OOF!"
"Great going, Concha," Carter groaned.
As she walked backward, she bumped into someone. Corey apologized over and over and caught a look at the person's face. She wore pink rectangular glasses and the school uniform, had short straight hair and a beauty mark at the corner of her bottom lip.
‘Fuck she’s so pretty!’
"I-I'm so sorry!"
"It's okay," the girl said. She stared at her before finally speaking. "Are you a first-year?"
"Y-yeah...?"
"Have you signed up for a club yet?"
"N-no..."
The girl smiled. "Come with me please."
‘Fuck.’
"Um, okay?" She turned to her brothers, and spoke in English: “If I don't come back in thirty minutes call me."
Colin gave her a thumbs up while Carter looked like he couldn't care less. The girl led Corey to the girl's locker room, which she had yet to explore herself.
"Do you have a set of gym clothes?" The taller brunette asked, pulling her tan sweater vest over her head.
"No." Corey sat on one of the benches. "Hey, since you sort of kidnapped me, even though I came of my own accord, can I know your name?"
The girl looked over her shoulder and slightly curled her lips into a smile. "Shimizu Kiyoko."
Corey returned her smile. "Hamilton Corey."
‘God it sounds so weird to say my last name first.’
"Hamilton?" She nodded rapidly. "That's a Western name isn't it?" Corey nodded again.
"Well, I am an American."
"Really?" Her eyes widened.
Corey nodded.
‘Wow, I'm doing a lot of nodding.’
"Huh..."
After Shimizu changed into a white tracksuit lined with light blue and swung a bag over her shoulder, she and Corey walked to Gymnasium 2. The walk was quiet, as Shimizu was not that big of a talker and neither was Corey, so the first year focused on her surroundings and tried not to get lost.
As they approached the metal doors of the gym, they saw two boys, one with hair black as a crow's and other's as ginger as a Weasley. They didn’t notice the females until Shimizu gave a small, "Excuse us." The two boys stepped aside, making way for Corey and Shimizu.
The first-year female took a glance at the boy on her left, and he stared back with his dark blue hues. She quickly averted her gaze, trying to make it look like she wasn't staring.
Shimizu knocked on the metal doors and one slid open, revealing a boy with shaven hair. He smiled gleefully at the sight of the taller female.
"Kiyoko-san! You're looking radiant today!"
She ignored him and walked inside, Corey following behind, holding on to the hem on her senpai's jacket. The boy shivered with pleasure.
"It turns me on when she ignores me!"
‘Okay, that's a little weird, dude.’
"Oh, Kiyoko-san! Who'd you bring with you?"
Fuck I've been spotted. Abort the mission ABORT THE MISSION!!
She stiffened and faced two tallboys: one with black hair and the other with silver-blonde and a beauty mark at the corner of his left eye.
"I'm Hamilton Corey! Nice to meet you!" That caught the attention of the whole GYM. She didn't mean to say that so loud, but she was nervous.
The boy with the black hair chuckled and smiled warmly at her.
"Full of energy, I see!"
‘Yeah, keep believing that…’
"I'm Sawamura Daichi." He stuck out his hand for her to shake and she did. His hands felt rough and callous against her soft palms.
"Sugawara Koushi," the boy with the silver hair greeted. He extended his hand for her to shake but the boy with the shaven hair stepped in between them, grasping Corey's hand in his.
"And I'm Tanaka Ryunosuke." His voice was sickly sweet, so much so that Corey could tell that it was fake.
Sugawara whacked Tanaka on the head and he backed off.
‘Why is this happening to me? What did I do to deserve this?’
"Did Shimizu recruit you to be the assistant manager?" Sugawara asked his new kouhai.
"M-Manager...?"
"I bumped into her in the hallway and thought I'd bring her to meet the team," Shimizu said from behind Corey.
‘I can't be a manager! I don't know anything about being one! I can barely handle my six siblings!’
As Corey panicked in her head, her gaze trailed to a water bottle on the polished wooden floor. This gave her an idea.
"Hey, how about instead of being a manager, I can be part of your water crew!" She suggested.
"Water Crew?" Suga wondered aloud.
"Yeah! We had one back on my team at my old school!"
"You were in a sport before?" Sawamura asked.
"No... I was in the marching band." She gave a nervous laugh at the end. "But we just filled the water bottles before and during practices. That way, the kids who didn't have or bring water can have some and stay hydrated!"
There was silence for a few seconds as Suga and Daichi thought the suggestion over. Corey didn't even know why she was anxious. She didn't even know what sport this was! But by the net set up on the court and the blue and yellow balls in a nearby basket, she guessed it was volleyball.
"Why not," Daichi finally spoke. "I don't see the harm."
Corey gave them a big smile, the brackets of her retainer showing. She wasn't going to be useless to this team after all!
"Thank you! I promise I won't be a burden to this team!"
They all thought they were joking but she was dead serious. She had no idea how to play volleyball and sucked at it when she had to play in middle school.
Sawamura called for the team to start their stretches and Corey took this opportunity to fill their bottles. She didn't have the drinking water jugs but thought that if they had an ice room, she could fill the bottles with refreshing cold water for them on this warm day.
Suga told her that their ice room was on the right side of their club room, the building that she and Shimizu had passed when on their way to the GYM. She collected a bottle from each of the six club members and headed out the door she came from.
When she slid the metal door open, the two boys were still there. They both stared at her, not saying a word. Being the shy girl that she was, Corey gave them a quick little wave and a half-smile and speed-walked to the ice room, trying not to drop any of the bottles on her way.
Surprisingly, the door was unlocked. Inside, the loud hum of the giant metal ice machine filled the small room. A small sink protruded from one of the white walls, next to a washer and dryer. Corey felt the phone in her blazer pocket vibrate. She set the bottles on the washer and checked her phone. It was a message from Colin.

Corey stuffed her phone back in her pocket and filled the bottles with ice with the metal scoop. Once they were all filled, she left, again passed the two boys, and handed each player their bottle, as they had just finished their stretches and warm-ups.
