I like this theory- I also think it would be cool if they bought some basic clothes from thrift stores and then customised them to make them match, and some of the designs (like the good twin and evil twin shirts) were inside jokes between the two
I know this isn't at all important to the story of SBG, but I'm really curious about Tylar and Taylor's clothes. When I read through the comic, it seemed to me that the twins aren't financially well off like Aiden or Ashlyn, so I want to know where they got all of these matching outfits. Thrift stores? Clothing donations?
Clothing is somewhat important in sbg, even if there's no metaphorical meaning behind it, they represent the characters really well, whether it's Aiden's smiley faced outfits, or Taylor and Tyler's matching clothes.
My guess has always been that they get them from somewhere cheaper like outlet malls, but even those can get expensive. Thrift store is a solid theory too but it seems unlikely they would be able to get that many matching sets of clothes, especially since they shop in different sections and they can't just get duplicates of the same item.
I think the most logical answer is that one of them got a job to afford the matching clothes, or that they got them of Shein. I'm really hoping it's not the latter.
ignore how rushed this is lmaoo
