This is an OC I designed a while back. This displays the fact her life is lived in two parts: one a farmer, mother and Good Samaritan, the other a witch, warrior and all around OP. Her story is that she grew up in a good family, not finch, not poor. The cost of living in the city meant she lived in a pretty bad apartment, but she found a cool roommate who became her best friend. Her job was terrible, and her boss always shouting at her for missing deadlines she had actually met, or chastising her for being disruptive by sitting silently. Finally, she had enough, and moved out of the city with her best friends (one who was her old roommate). They move to a quiet town, settle, and discover she’s actually the most powerful being in the history of ever. Next thing she knows, she fighting monsters, learning magic, and expected to save her nation from a massive war it’s been fighting for centuries. She just wanted to date this cute guy she met! Is that really so much to ask?! But she deals. She doesn’t actually get a say in it. She gets to marry the man of her dreams, have two kids, and generally just enjoy life on the weekends (the week is made up of fighting a bunch of monsters). Happy ending? She’s not reached the end yet, so we’ll see.

To all those who have seen the posts related to cat Duman week, I thank you for liking my work, as well as that of all this event’s other contributors! Everyone participating in the event created some truly spectacular works (each supremely adorable). We had possessed cats, tiny cats, burger cats, a cat and a cow, a couple of cats stuck in yarn, and many more to numerous to mention on this post while maintaining coherence. @calissarowan , @coredetenebris , @niklaushenning, @lonelybiscuits , @devilheartsblog , you have all created such incredible works, and I thank you for sharing your talents with us all. I know for a fact all the art from this event has made life that little happier, and cat themed. Thank you all, from the bottom of my heart.

Main artwork was a collaboration piece from all of the aforementioned artists, as well as myself. Truly amazing work.

Last day of Cat Duman Week! Here’s my showstopper! A whole afternoon of work on an animatic! I’m so proud of it. This is why one gets a boyfriend that can turn into a cat, so you get kitty kisses when you’re sad. No, I don’t know why Gantlos was sad. Sometimes people are just sad. I’m gonna miss Cat Duman Week.

Cat duman week Day 6: Duman and butterflies

Everytime I add the wizards Gantlos and Ogron are cats while Anagan’s regular. I guess the lore is that his friends were turned into cats and he takes care of them until the effects wear off lol. What do you lovelies think?

How does he get himself into these situations???

I had a go with the oil paint brush in Clip Studio Paint! I had so much fun! I had to draw Duman tangled in wool, because that’s what started Cat Duman Week in the first place. @niklaushenning and I were talking about crochet, and which wizard would do it, and he said Duman, and I said he’d get tangled in the wool after getting bored and turning into a cat to play, and I said we should both draw that and compare, and soon that turned into ‘we should just have a week where we post art of Cat Duman’ which, honestly, I was just kidding, but it seemed like such an amazing idea, and we got people to join in, so here we are! And I had to include Anagan, so he’s not left out of the week. Only one day left…and I have something special for tomorrow!
