So uh, I’m keeping up on the most recent dream smp stuff, and the slime guy has died.

Man, it sure would be nice if Quackity knew someone who could bring Charlie back from the dead…

Oh wait! He does! Except oops, as far as he knows, Dream is free now.

Only… tomorrow, Quackity gets to find out that wasn’t true. That Sam lied to him. That Dream was actually still within his reach, even if only for a brief period. There will have been a short span of time where Quackity could’ve negotiated with Dream to bring Slimcicle back, even if the cost would’ve been steep.

The moment Dream’s free, Quackity loses any bargaining chips he would’ve had there. Hell, he won’t even have the ability to contact Dream easily, if he can do it at all. Not to mention because of what he did, Dream hates his guts, so even if he can make contact, the odds of him being able to offer enough for Dream to bring Charlie back are slim to none.

Before, Quackity wanted the revive book for power, for his bet. But now, the only possible way to get Charlie back is Dream, and that’s something he’s desperate for. He was willing to do a lot of harm to try to get the revive book, but getting Charlie back is something he’d be willing to sacrifice for. That’s a lot more dangerous.

Not only that, but because Quackity failed to get the revive book from Dream, if Dream dies, then that’s it. Quackity cannot let Dream die if he wants a chance at getting Charlie back.

But when Dream escapes tomorrow… well didn’t Sapnap make a promise? Do you think he’ll try to fulfill it?

My honest hope is that Dream escapes, and Technoblade is able to take on most of the server, but Sapnap manages to get past him. Sapnap tries to make good on his promise to kill Dream, only to be stopped by Quackity of all people. The two of them are already in a really rocky place, and this could drive a beautifully horrible wedge between them. Maybe Quackity has to kill Sapnap to keep Dream alive. Or Sapnap has to kill Quackity to try to get to Dream, but this wastes too much time, and Dream is able to get away as a result. Making it all for nothing.
