Typically when he has an outburst or tantrum, you try to redirect and allow him to tell you why he's frustrated and then you guys do an activity together.

Usually you're persistent on that, but if he absolutely refuses, you may get a little stern with him and force him to be in his baby mode.

You know he'll feel a bit sorry if you demand he comes and stand before you as if you were judge, jury, and executioner.

You put on the stern facade and then tickle attack him! He can't be upset if he's smiling.

If you're able to get him to talk it out while he sits in your lap, he'll be more than happy to drink from his bottle and cool that little temper of his.

You and him will spend the next couple of hours just relaxing and you'll end up doing things for him

His factory reset button might be picking him up in a hug and squeezing him super tight for a couple of seconds.

All in all, Franco isn't too difficult to get to calm down, unless something triggers his specific childhood traumas.
