Main fields of mistria takeaway so far is I think.... More so than maybe any other farm-sim/harvestmoon-like since like early early harvest moon- this game places a lot of love and care on its characters & their relationships. It's a town that genuinely feels like a community, the npcs all have their own interpersonal relationships completely unrelated to you.

Repeat dialogue has been so minimal & in fact i keep getting surprised by the townies like. Talking to me about things I've done like hitting certain points in the mine, delivering certain mini-quest items to other npcs, dialogue hinting to/leading up to holidays/special events. Like reacting to my presence in the town.

Like. Even the bachelors/bachelorette have such thoroughly established friendships/relationships already that even if there was a rival system, I'd really have to rack my brain about who'd be paired with who because it could go so many ways because they all act like they know eachother for real! They're not always all in the same exact friend group either like the DnD group is different from who talks in crowds together at festivals (which is also different each festival!) or who hangs out in the evenings at someone's house or who drinks together at the inn or who etc etc!! It varies day by day! Ah! I could not even begin to figure out set schedules for these character because it does genuinely seem to vary day by day so much AND evolved as you go through the year/hit new story points... my god...

Surprised that there's not much flow of theories of WHERE the MC's curse came from. Like... What if... It's not actually a curse? What if they inherited it through genes? What if the Shroud was always been present even before Fogfall? What if an unknown monster managed to tear through the Shroud, stepped into the human world, and then interacted with a human resulting in a union between them? What if... The MC's existence is proof of that union? Could that be the reason why they have a monstrous curse? Maybe that's why they are not considered a human but not considered a monster either? What if a powerful mage cursed the parents' offspring as a punishment? What if the MC also inherited that Monster-Fucker tendency from their human parent 😭?

eridia never truly felt safe, but here? in the arms of the renowned doctor? he definitely was a safe space. theres no way he isn’t a angel, no human can just make someone feel so safe and hold secrets to the grave.

sure, this might just be his demeanor and who he is overall. but does he just.. casually slow dance with people, making them feel so safe it hurts just to think about another day not in his arms, is it really normal to do this right after you entrusted him with the most darkest secret you hold?

god, you’re supposed to be finding the cure for your curse, you can’t get off track—but a little break never hurts, right?

how does it feel so natural to dance with him? knowing all your life youve refused touch out of fear to cause mayhem amongst the common good? why does he look at you like youre the most valuable gem the world has ever known? how does he just.. make people feel so safe in a place where trust is not ensured?

I drew Leander for my AP psych project

The project was to explain what parts of the brain does what, and we could chose a person or character so obviously I chose character. The poll results said Leander so take him, he’s here.

I did end up doing some over analyzing of his character, but I didn’t include much here, tiny bit on the far right of this drawing there’s a water down version. I plan to over analyze each character because I’m insane :3

Also I can’t stop adding more and more body hair to this man each time I draw him, this time I adding some facial hair (if you zoom in you could see clearly, I hope)

This song has been scratching my brain so hard lately, probably because it makes me think of Leander so much.

But for some reason it made an idea spawn: Hanahaki disease, but Leander purposefully inflicted it to you.

He used his natural charms, along with other tricks to make you fall for him, knowing damn well what would happen to you. For weeks, maybe months even, he watches you desperatly try to gain his affection to no avail. And as you lay at his feet, drawing your few final breathes, he kneels down to whisper in your ear he knew all along, that he's the one who did it to you. He might also bring your corpse to his little private garden, where you could fully bloom with the others.

Maybe the idea doesn't sound as good as it did in my head but oh well akjhfejk, brainrot is just going real hard again, don't mind me HUEH.
