aaaawww, thank you! I really glad to hear that. I have troubles with regular updates, and I have very much flaws, but I'm glad that you like it.

I'm also always thought that Dirk planning all that shit with Dave killing him because 1) it would make a complete story tm when Dave will found him like the villain tm killed you can rest well now the end 2) at some point though I don't so sure about it I thought that he also does that because if he will die his friends will lost someone who would never adjust for more calm and sweet life and live without him the way they wants. Not so sure about it works tbh. 3) Ult!Dirk is kinda blind for other people feelings I think (how he writing Jake to be completely obsessed with him and with that completely ignoring genuine love that still in him for Dirk), and I think while he is talking all that shit like I will never hurt Dave (what with end monologue hinting us how Dirk planning to die literally) and that Dave is stronger person than Dirk I think he is ignoring that Dave cares loves and cherish Dirk anyway of course that shit happened and he is angry with whole pack of other emotions

How Dirk is always for action, and that he is always act and ready. It's starting to feel like Dirk is more mentally and psychically stronger than Dave, that Dave is weaker and softier, and then.

More parallels that no one wanted:

Two characters narrating the Homestuck epilogues: alt!Calliope and Ult!Dirk.

And remember how in the sixth act there were small fragments about Dirk rewritten book for Jane, and even though the piece is really small and didn't take so long, the conclusion there is that: a more cathartic and difficult to read version, almost unbearable. More cathartic and heavier, difficult for read version.. Didn't it remind you something? Something that Ult!Dirk narrate?

On the other hand, the fact that Calliope likes to tell/write stories was almost one of her Uniques, and Alt! Calliope (I don’t remember the quote word-in-word) tells that in past she loves stories too. Well, there is a candy epilogue. (Funny thing: in one of Dirk and Calliope's conversations, he wants to see her fanfiction, and even ask if it has a romance, but when he actually saw her fanfiction... Even though mmmmhhh from her fucked up evil version, himself being fucked up and evil, (I mean candy epilogue there, yeah) he did "what the fucking fuck" and just forget that thing as nightmare. And he also killed himself in it, lol.)

(About fanfiction: I know that Roxy and Rose were also into fanfiction, but I think 1) this is a deeper reflection on their characters connection as Lalonde family and theme and the second....)

Well, here's the second one:

Consider this: Rose is still Dirk's "right hand" in the meat epilogue. By the way, a funny detail: before the scratch/Cascade, Rose was clearly deceived by Doc Scratch, despite the fact that he seemed to be interested in her. On the other hand, Ult!Dirk has a part of Lord English and Doc Scratch too. Guess who manipulated and lied to Rose, showing interest in her too, but in meat epilogue? Yeah. You get it right.

In other side, Roxy in every epilogue is a bff for Calliope - and even if it not alt!Calliope manipulation, exactly meat!roxy first one who brings idea of that Dirk may be killed in the end. And who wants his defeat so much that she even make Dave into Davebot and Roxy telling that things? Yeah. You get it right.

And also! Remember how Caliborn hated Calliope's fiction? It's funny to me when I think about how Ult!Dirk(who have part of Lord English in himself who is Caliborn and etc) also don't like Alt!Calliope fiction.

Dave is tactile with Dirk. He hugs him when he tell Dirk about things, he pat his shoulder or back eventually.

And when they returns Dirk to home after meat epilogue, it's getting worse. It's like everything above but increased by three. He hugs Dirk, he cuddle him, he makes every touch with Dirk just to know that he doesn't leave anymore. That he won't destroy their lives and his ar the same time by leaving. And Dirk always feels bad, because even if Dave looks calm, Dirk Knows that he blasted his trust. He knows that he ruined Dave's trust, that was builded kinda with hard efforts.

And when everything is calming down, after a long time, sometimes Dave still ask him about leaving, hugging him tightly. And Dirk answer him with "No, I won't."
