How do you deal with fits of rage with ADD/ADHD? I'm managing for the most part, but I've found myself being so much more aggressive than NTs in certain situations, and sometimes that anger and aggression isn't even really justified. This happens mostly at work as well. Any insights? Am I in the right to even blame ADD, or is it something else entirely that gets me agitated so quickly?
oh i get major anger issues. part of me actually uses that anger as fuel LOL but when it’s too much this is what i do:
• ill watch something to distract me
• HAVE CHEAP ITEMS YOU CAN THROW AND BREAK PLEASE I HAVE THROWN MY PHONE BEFORE DO NOT BE ME.
• get a stress ball / smth u can squeeze
• write down your feelings in a maliciously worded letter then shred it and continue on with your day
• do not talk to your friends during a flare up of rage if you know you are going to be pissy i am begging you all to not do this
• don’t punch the wall, you’ll hurt your hand. if you must punch something, punch like….a pillow? i guess?
it’s mostly just getting used to it and holding it in which kind of sucks ass but that’s … yeah. that’s really all the advice i got on this ‘cause i’m still figuring it out myself. followers feel free to chime in!!
“My name is Gabriel, Im 25 and ive been homeless for a year and a half. I was raised by my aunt who sold her house and left the state. Around the same time I lost my job and my first car was t-boned. I got a jeep which is my dream car because of insurance, I lived out of my jeep which stopped working a month afterwards with my dog for most of that time until I received my tax return and was finally able to get it moving again.
After getting it fixed a friend let me stay with them. My dad and my dog died around the same time, I never knew my dad much and then I had to realize I never would. I had gotten my dog at the beginning of the year before and raised him from a puppy, he was an american akita named Xten and i miss him more than anything. He was with me the whole time i was homeless and kept me going alot of the time, i feel like i let him down honestly.
Then I got kicked out of my friends house because of a argument, and later that night put in the hospital with a concussion and broken hand when someone came and punched me from behind at a shopping center. I lost my memory of the last few days and most of the possessions I had managed to hold on to when they left all of my things at a donation box in the rain.
My girlfriend, her cousin, and my bestfriend managed to get a few of my things they knew were mine. My girlfriend and her cousin are both amazing people and I wouldn't have made it this long without them, especially the woman who stood beside me even when i was down.
My bestfriend got me a job at a grocery store and I eventually managed to buy a car from his parents, the car broke down on me at an intersection and was eventually towed and I got fired from my job. The previously mentioned cousin of my girlfriend purchased me a tent, and I had been living in it and keeping my things there since I started at the job my friend had gotten me.”

I don’t know who needs to read this but…
If your fic is unfinished, you’re okay. If your fic is on long-term hiatus, you’re okay. If your fic is straight up abandoned, you’re okay. If you punch out a thousand WIPs and rarely finish any of them because you work best with juggling stories, you’re okay. If you only ever publish oneshots because you like short and simple stories, you’re okay. If you only post longer, multi-chaptered fics after they’re complete, you’re okay. If you don’t post anything at all no matter what you write in private, you’re okay.
There is far too high a standard for fanfic authors (and other creators) in fandom lately. This idea that if you start a WIP, no matter how long or short you’re planning it – or how long or short it ends up being – you HAVE to finish it, you HAVE to update on a schedule basis, you HAVE to have a plan. And that’s just wrong.
Fanfiction is for many authors a testing ground, a place to practice writing. Sometimes that means starting a WIP that never finishes because the author realizes they didn’t plan ahead enough or the story’s plot went way in over their heads or simply don’t have enough motivation to finish, and THAT’S FINE. Others punch out ficlets and oneshots that rarely get attention or reviews and THAT’S FINE. Fanfiction is not the publishing world, nor is it a resume. It’s a place to express yourself, whether in short bursts, longer epics, or a bazillion unfinished projects, or anything in-between.
If you’re writing fanfiction, or drawing fan art, or creating other fandom works, no matter what your method is, no matter whether you finish or not, you’re doing okay. I promise.
this is so fricking good!! the colors and the composition and the backgrounds and everything!!!!!

This is my last project so far this year. I wanted to show some tribute to Percy Jackson series once I finished reading all the books (the story fascinated me more and more, I was reading and at the same time thinking "Woah, this part could be a great poster!”), and I really intended to create a poster for each one of the seven and even a few more (I don’t like HOO that much, tho, only a few characters), but then I saw a painful spoiler. I’m serious: when I saw that that character died I lost my whole inspiration and all my motivation! Suddenly this project became something exhausting for me. So finally, after months, I’m posting this cause I decided I’ll no longer move forward with this project. But I really love these and I hope you guys enjoy it too!
Reblog this please
