i learnt how japanese bank books work and now the scene where shigeo is being asked if his mom has money is a lot funnier
in japan, bank books are lil notebooks you put inside the ATM and the ATM will print how much money you have left in your bank account (if you added or you substracted comes along with it)

As an adult in fandom spaces I get a lot of minors (i dont know if theyre kids or teenagers and frankly its none of my business) wanting to befriend me fairly often. Whole thing seems kinda suspect but musclebro didn’t charge you anything and anyway the spooky noises have stopped so no harm done, right?
And then maybe a few months later your coworker tells you that they swear they saw this creepy headless figure walking home last night so you’re like, Y'know I know this guy, 100% legit, I bet he could look into it for you…
