A Dupont Circle icon is closing its doors this winter.The Melody Record Shop has been on Connecticut Avenue for 34 years.The family-owned business has served as a touchstone for its longtime neighbors and customers... but technology and a troubled economy have conspired to end its run. Derrick Ward reports.
