A commission for @groovylittleclown !!!!

I've been playing more pony town and wanted to show some of the skin styles I have!! I've made silly little names for the categories!! (totally not an excuse to show off skins and maybe ask for help)

First up: Two examples of my standard pony style, which I want to update but don't know how. Featuring Minty, one of my favorites, and Tidepool, an oc!! For these, I'll usually look at one or two pictures and try to wing it.

Then we have "this took so unbelievably long and I want to update them but I'm scared to mess it up and ruin it" with Boober and Shadow!! Boober took I think 3 hours and Shadow 5-6, both including breaks because I didn't feel like doing math. I had multiple pictures of both ponies and canon for references for them. I made them both last summer.

My "I'm actually gonna put in a good solid effort after who knows how long and my standards have been raised", I made Vash super recently, like a couple days ago. The same kinda deal with the references, I actually made a collage of canon and pony Vash pictures on google docs for this because I was tabbing away so much. I want to update the rest of my ponies to this style, but I'm dreading the amount of effort that will be. I'm also worried about switching too or from Vash in public because he's so different from the rest of them.. I love him tho!!

Here is my "I'm trying to update to fit the style but I haven't actually looked up reference pictures and don't want to put in the time to better them and just want it to be done" I don't know HOW to fix them up, and I'm actually super happy with how Duck looks now (he had his very own post!!) so I'm scared to mess him up.. I have no excuse for Miku. I was trying to add more color, it went horribly wrong, I'm sorry Miku..

Double Rick for "I just want to have this character, I'll fix them later" / "I gave up part way through and don't feel like addressing that" I don't have any notes, they're just here.

And last there's "I don't know what went wrong and I don't know how to fix it, I have an idea but there is no color option for that" I'm sorry Gobo.. You deserve better.. Mokey, Wembly, and Red all also fit in this category. I made them after Boober, when I was running out of effort steam and started coasting on what was easy. Side note, I'd love it if we could add vests, like, there's a color option in the standard shirt that I used for Flesh Curtains Rick, and if we could have something similar to that but with maybe another color where the "undershirt" is, it would make me very happy.

All the ponies have a hidden horn for ✨sparkles✨, Minty's is colored wrong, I'm just realizing, but it's so they glow at night.

I'm really happy with most of them!! Duck and Minty are still my favorite ponies, despite the outdated style, I just love the characters!! There's a bunch more I didn't show, but I felt like these got the category message across the best (and some are embarrassing.. sorry red and bonnie..) Haha!!

I used those disinfectant wipies. To whoever invented those doors on the trailers, with the wire hinge. Look out bucko because I have some CHOICE words for you.

I took such a big tumble at work today..

Well- it felt like a big tumble, but we were loading a trailer thing and I tripped on the wire hinge thing, and ate absolutely asphalt.

Having a side character as a favorite character is so funny because I'll be reading these fics that just mention them for one or two scenes. And it'll be my favorite part and I won't give a single shit about what's happening with the main characters because Side Character is coming up! Or Side Character is here! Or Side Character just left!

One of my favorite things is making aus of my ocs and stories. I'm working on a new little project where I get to play as one of my favorite ocs, Deirdre. Weeeellllllll, I thought, what if he wasn't like he is?? I already have ideas for what could have been for him, what if I just kinda.. *makes an au* So here I am, making a good au version of Deirdre and Liana (his ex wife) where he does not commit horrible atrocities, he does not get banished down to earth, and the two of them were not pushed into an unhappy marriage. And so then I get to thinking.. what would it be like if Classic! Deirdre and Good Au! Deirdre interacted? What would he think? If just one thing changed in his life, something that was not ever his choice in the first place, and that change took him down a path where he was a much happier and healthier person. What would go through his mind? And for Good Au!! Realizing that the world he lives in is not how things are supposed to be. Seeing the man in front of him and knowing that THIS is who he is supposed to be. Oh and Liana! That poor thing.. The council was supposed to protect her, and instead it changed her into a monster. Changed both her AND Deirdre into monsters (literally for Des, poor guy) Aaaanyway, I gotta get back to document writing, I will probably come back to this with either some writings or art. No promises though.
