You never walked into the campus cafe that was a convenient distance from your dorm building, mostly because of how crowded it always was. You hated crowds. Crowds meant noise. Noise meant distractions.

But looking out the large glass windows at the sight of the cafe while you stood in front of the empty vending machine, your thoughts changed.

I need a coffee to help me stay awake to write this damn essay, you thought to yourself with a frown.

Looking back at the vending machine, your eyebrows furrowed in frustration. Huffing to yourself, you turned around and left the dorms, pulling the hood of your sweatshirt over your head when you noticed the damp ground and the sound of light rain hitting against the pavement.

You passed by smiling students holding their picky coffee orders in one hand, laptop in the other with a flat expression. You pulled on the strings of your sweatshirt.

Maybe you could order a coffee without having much social interaction.

Hah, if only it was that easy.

“Yes Jinn-” Your words were cut off by Hyunjin placing his lips on yours, delicately kissing them. 

Before the kiss could progress, he pulled back and his lips curled up into a smile.

“What was that for? You’re never like this…” You asked, tilting your head to the side. 

He shrugged, pecking your lips once more before resting his forehead on yours. “I just wanted to kiss you, is that a problem?” 

You rolled your eyes, a smile playing onto your lips. Hyunjin had always been a massive flirt, even before you started dating. What you failed to notice was his eyes wondering down to your lips for the hundredth time.

“That’s never gonna be a problem, babe” You pulled back and looked back down, your focus diverting down to the book on your lap. 

Hyunjin’s eyes cast down at you, looking over your figure, taking in every little detail. From the way the shirt you were wearing hung loosely on your frame to the way your bottom lips was pulled between your teeth. 

“Bubba i can feel you staring at me, stop it” You warned, a smile fighting its way onto your lips as you flipped over the page of your book. 

He scooted closer and carefully brought his hand up, placing it under your chin to gently turn your head to face him. You tore your eyes from the book and looked up at him. 

“I know I’ve kissed you like, ten times, but just like another ten, please.”

A giggle bubbled in your throat, your right hand leaving the book and moving up to rest on the side of Hyunjin’s face. “You’re so cute…” 

Hyunjin pouted and dropped his hand, a defeated look on his face. “Hmph…” 

“You big baby, just kiss me already” 

That was all Hyunjin needed to hear, he dropped his head and placed his lips down on yours. 

The hand that previously held your face came back up and cupped the side of your face, deepening the kiss.

Your breath shortened and you pulled away, breathing deeply, lips slightly swollen and pink. Hyunjin looked the same, love practically pouring from his eyes. 

His forehead rested against yours, eye fluttering closed. “I love you…” He whispered.

“I love you too, Hyunjin”

You brought both hands up to cup his face and leaned up, pecking his lips again then pulling back and letting your hands fall limp. A chuckle pushed past your lips as you turned back and picked up the book that was in your lap, opening it. 

Hyunjin finally opened his eyes, he twisted himself around and fell forward, curling his body into yours and pressing his face into the crook of your neck. 

His lips ghosted over the skin of your neck, sending a shiver down your spine and making goosebumps raise on your skin. You shook off the feeling and tried to focus on the words on the page. 

“My love~” He sung, pressing a small kiss to the base of your neck, laughing when you squirmed. 

“Stop it Jinnie, I’m trying to focus” You whined. The boy shook his head, his hair tickling your skin.

“I’m not going to stop until I’ve given you enough kisses!” 

You sighed, though a smile pulled on your lips. “And how many is that then?”

“A million kisses!”
