Lucky woman

Shuri Udaku x wakandan fem reader

Lucky Woman

Summary: while in the market grabbing some fruit before a date with your soon-to-be wife a woman approaches you and Shuri isn't too fond of other women obviously flirting with you.

Snippet from the fic: “ "I think I was very nice about the situation I could have acted how you would have acted" ”

Everyone knows you're Shuri's woman she's not secretive about it she refuses to be secretive kissing you and gifting you every time she gets the chance. Shuri is a very busy woman but never too busy for you she always finds time to cut you in which means anywhere and anyplace. Being with Shuri means eyes are on you all the time wondering if you're fit for the title of queen and wondering if the queen herself will let you go. Wandering eyes are always watching you whether it be because you're beside their Queen or they're waiting for the moment for you to be away from Shuri. You are not a stranger to many people's eyes.

You and Shuri rarely have time to enjoy the simple things in life but when you do it consists of going to the market buying a shit ton of fruit and sitting on the beach.

You two were separated only a second ago when someone hands you a mango "oh thank you" you reply kindly but their hand lingers on yours when you take the fruit. "You're the soon-to-be queen" you cringe at the title at first endearing now it holds other meanings. "Y/n but yes" the woman nods "queen Shuri is one lucky woman" you nod as you continue picking fruit from the baskets "indeed she is talented, smart, and ambitious" the woman nods "while all of that is true that's not what makes her lucky woman." You glance at the woman in confusion "oh really? Then what does?" She smiles and as if your words are the consent she needs she eyes you in your fitted dress her eyes take in every curve and every dip of your body. "You. She's got the most beautiful woman in all of Wakanda she is truly talented to have gotten you to herself." You can't help the smile that grows on your face "Uhm yes" you laugh a bit out of embarrassment you could never tell a lie this woman knows how to play her cards right and you admire that. Shuri's not too fond of someone eyeing her girl like she's some piece of meat or making her laugh all nervously so she's quick to approach you both. Her walk is full of power it's something she emits well. It's something you've always been very fond of.

Shuri suddenly grabs your lips in what you think will be a sweet and short kiss but she doesn't stop causing you to gasp and go weak in the knees. Your lips parting gives her the room to deepen the kiss and pull you close your body sinks into hers when you pull away she's smiling and you're just staring trying to regain the strength that she just knocked out of you. "Mmm sthandwa (my love)" you hum in return the woman is amazed by Shuri's boldness. "The elders" she nods "I respect them with my heart but you I respect with my soul. They'll be fine." She shrugs and you smile as you gently play with her shirt. "Oh, it was nice meeting you..." You wait for a name but don't receive one "nice meeting you too queen Y/n." The woman leaves and Shuri watches before turning her attention back to you.

"So unnecessary truly" Shuri shrugs and pecks your lips "I think I was very nice about the situation I could have acted how you would have acted" you roll your eyes "and how would I have acted?" Shuri laughs and shakes her head "you would have cursed her out most likely causing a scene or you'd be jealous the whole day and act mad at me." You nod agreeing "okay I'll give you that you can have that." Shuri smiles and looks at the fruit in the basket "you ready?" You nod and link your arm in hers "yes." you both walk towards the back of the market to be met with a young boy. Shuri grabs the mango given to you earlier and gifts it to the kid he smiles and takes it upon Shuri's request. "What if I wanted that mango?" Shuri raises a brow "what if you wanted a gift from a girl who was trying to take you from me? That sounds like border line cheating to me. Are you trying to cheat on me?" you laugh because you're aware Shuri is being so unserious right now but her face is straight. "Absolutely not but I like mangos" she nods "if you want a mango I can get you one you just can't have that one it might have some seducing love spell and it'll make you leave me and..." you watch fondly as shuri rambles on no matter how much she matures you still see the younger version of her sometimes and the scene before you is a clear representation.

A/n: y'all are getting soft fics from me this weekend because drill is kicking my ass, to be honest. 😅like I'm sore and I have to do this shit all over again tomorrow. Anyways enjoy.

“Who says I don’t?”

Emerald and Oj haywood

This idea popped in my head so why not? Hope y’all enjoy

TW: swearing as in “nigga, fuck and bitch”

“That’s why you still got issues nigga, who the hell goes to therapy to fuck they therapist? You got some shit going on man” Oj shook his head glancing at his ecstatic sister who was sat comfortably on the coffee table of the den located in the ranch house. “Well nigga everybody can’t ignore their problems and sweep them bitches under the rug like you” Emerald shot back taking a puff of her vape. Her eyes transitioning into slits as she glared at her brother who was sat in a chair in the corner nursing a glass of whiskey. He chuckled a bit shaking his head the only response she earned was a low “Mhm”

She reached a manicured hand up twirling a curl from her twist out between her slender fingers. Her hair had grew out since the incident and she usually kept it in twists. “When you goin twist ya hair again so I can part the back for you?” Oj’s deep voice bringing her out of her trance “look at you knowing how to do hair nigga! Need to get you a girlfriend!” She grinned lifting a moisturized leg up wrapping her arms around it. “Shut up nigga, I’m just tryna help cuz them parts be crooked as hell” he shot back taking a sip of his drink causing emerald to smack her lips, “fuck you” she shot a rebuttal playfully rolling her eyes. “No, fuck you” he responded gazing her with half lidded eyes.

“You need to lay some pipe, live a little nigga! You turnin into pops” she chuckled leaning back a bit with a smirk. “Who says I don’t” Oj responded raising his glass to her smiling as her mouth dropped open.

Flowers on the way Home

Mo Washington X Black!FreedWoman!Reader

Contains: angst and fluff

A/N: Anotha one! This was somewhat of a request, I changed it a bit. Hope yall enjoy! Thank you for reading! -Ro <3 Here We Goooooo

“Mo…one more step and you sleep on the porch tonight.” You warn, sureness in your tone and Mo pauses. If “Baby” wasn’t after her first name, she knew you meant business. She turns on her heels slowly, staring back at you with a cold stare that brings chills down your spine. You decided to stand your ground anyway. “I am not lettin’ you go out there. Least not without a fight, you pick.” You say, crossing your arms over your chest and shifting your weight to your right hip. Mo does the same with her hands by her side. She wanted to go to the bar for coffee, but last time those drunk white boys started trouble with her. “We got coffee right here, I can whip ya up some.” you headed toward the kitchen and she headed toward the door.

“MOSES WASHINGTON! SO HELP ME GOD… YOU WALK OUT THAT DOOR-” You shout, removing your apron and throwing it down on the floor to follow her out the door. She stops again. “What you call me, woman?” She finally speaks, she turns to you and your chests are connected as she stares down at you. “You playin; wit fire, Moses.” She lifts her eyebrows at your boldness, you’ve never been THIS bold. “Ion mind a lil burn.” She says, she steps back slowly, making her way out the door. You stomped your way to the linen closet, snatching a blanket and a pillow out and stomping back to the porch. You slam them onto the rocking chair that sat next to the front door and march right on back inside, locking the door behind you.

She had some nerve, you couldn’t believe that she left anyway. “We got coffee here, now. She jus’ bein’ stubborn.” You say to yourself. You and Mo had never fought like this, you were her Honey Bee, so you both kept it sweet for the most part. She never walked away from you, even when you wanted to. You waited for a knock at the door for hours, nothing. You laid in the bed that you shared with Mo, hating the emptiness on her side. You get up and tiptoe to the front door, opening it to find your Mo Baby sitting in the rocking chair asleep. The blanket you sat out was draped over her legs and the pillow sat behind her head with her hat covering her eyes. In her hand, she held flowers that she had picked for you on the way to the bar. Sunflowers from the field that was across the way. She knew you thought they were beautiful and wanted to make things better. She came home thirty minutes after she left, upset with herself for leaving, only to find the door locked and the blanket outside. Guilt slapped you in the chest and told you to wake your wife up immediately. “M-Mo Baby…” She stirred a bit, but continued to sleep. “Mo Baby, come on in this house.” you whisper to her, touching her arm gently. She opens her eyes and lifts her hat from her eyes. “Honey Bee, whatchu doin’ out here this late?” She rasped out, she looked around to make sure that no one was lurking in the dark.

“Mo Baby, I’m sorry…come on to bed.” you beg her and she thinks for a minute. She looks down at the handful of flowers and extends them toward you. You gladly receive them and she stands up grabbing the blanket and pillow to take with her into the house. “I shouldn’t have walked away, Honey Bee.” She whispers, kissing your forehead. “Jus’ come on to bed, baby.” you tell her again. “Don’t you call me that, no mo’.” She warns remembering you calling her Moses. She hated the way you called her by her full name, she was your Mo Baby, nothing less than that. She stays on the porch as you approach the doorframe, leaning on it and smiling bashfully at her stern demand. “Yes ma’am…” you respond lowly and her stern expression drops. “C’mon in here.” she says gesturing for you to step back into the house and out of the doorframe. You help her take her jacket and hat off and she gets cleaned up for bed. You held her close when she joined you in bed. “Mo Baby…” you call to her softly. “Hm?” she hums sleepily and your heart melts at her attempt to stay awake to hear what you have to say. “I just want ya to stay safe, is all. Ion want ya to get caught on the wrong day, an’ I lose ya forever.” Your explanation clawed at your chest as it heaved up and down at the thought of losing your wife. Mo soothes you, pulling you closer and adjusting your headscarf for you. She smiles at you, her hooded eyes getting heavier. “I love you, Honey Bee. I’ll always be careful, stoppin’ to bring ya flowers on the way home. Always.” she whispers, her eyes finally rest, but she listens for your response. “I love you too…an’ we got coffee at home.” You say stubbornly and she chuckles. “Yes, honey bee. C’mere.” she says and you lean into the crook of her neck. The two of you drift to sleep, your breathing tenderly lulling each other to sleep.

No matter what, you and Mo were determined to raise Nala up better than both of you were. You promised her to teach her how to read, and how to count. She would know more than just her name.

“Again, baby. Count ya fingers.” Nala was five now, and remained just as curious from when she was a baby. She wanted to know the world around her, and from the day you got her, you promised that she would.

“One, two, free, four, five.” Nala counts her fingers, looking up at you with a bright smile, though one tooth in the top front is missing.

“Three, baby.”

“Free.” She repeats, pouting when she can’t say it right.

“It’s that lost tooth,” Mo speaks up, coming over to the two of you. “Nosey Bug, say throw.” Mo says as she lifts Nala, placing her on her lap.

“Frow.”

You try to stifle back your laughter. Nosey Bug was just too cute, from the faces she makes, to the way she talks. “You alright, Nosey Bug. You alright.”

“Ma’s gun got six.” Nala looks down at her hands and begins to count. “One, two, free, four, five, six.”

You raise an eyebrow. “Good job, baby. But… how you know what Ma’s gun got?” You smile faintly.

“Ma let me count it!” Nosey Bug’s smile never fades. If anything, it grows.

“…Oh she did, now?” You sit up in the chair, crossing your arms.

Mo’s eyes widen. “You were ‘posed to keep that hush, Nosey Bug.”

Nala shrugs. “Mama, can I get sugar cane?” She hops off of Mo’s lap to approach you. When you say yes and send her away with a kiss on the head, your attention turns right to Mo. “Mo.”

“Honey Bee, she wouldn’t stop askin’. That child is so smart and curious.”

“You let my baby hold a gun?!”

“No! It was empty, an’ I was holdin’ it. You think I’d let my baby girl hold a loaded gun?!”

“No-“ you stutter to find your words before sighing. “No, Mo Baby. I know you wouldn’t. But you needs ta keep-“

“I wanna shoot like Ma!” Nala shouts with sugar cane in hand.

“Nala Washington!” You shout back. “You gon lower your voice in this house, now!” You stand up, and walk over to Nala, lifting her up in your arms. “You not shootin’ no gun, Bug.” Your free hand wipes the corner of her mouth.

“But I wanna be like Ma.” Nala pouts, looking into your eyes. “Ma gun got six holes,” she manages to hold up six fingers with her treat in hand. “And issa black pistol. B, L, A, C, K.”

You nod you head with a soft sigh. “Yes, good job, baby.” You place a kiss on her temple. “You’s too young to be shootin, Nosey Bug. You just a baby.”

“I’m not a baby, I’m a big girl!”

“Yes, I know, but-“

“I’m a Washington!”

“Nala, baby”

“AND I CAN COUNT! ONE, TWO, FREE, FOUR, FIVE!”

“Nosey Bug!” You raised your voice above hers. “I know you can count. You very smart. But you don’t needs to yell. Why don’t you ever count higher than five, huh?”

Mo watched silently, her lips curling into the biggest smile you’ve seen in a while. She was enjoying this. Nala was the perfect balance between you and Mo. She had your snappy attitude and Mo’s determination.

“Cuz you never ask, Mama.” Nala says with a mouth full of sugar cane.

Mo was real close to bursting out into laughter. Nala was truly a character. “Maybe Mama will let ya shoot when y’older. Nosey Bug, say think.”

Oh, how you wanted to protest that.

“I fink mama losin’ her mind ‘cuz I can count faster ‘fan her.” Nala proclaims proudly, placing her forehead against yours. “ S’okay, Mama. I can teach you.”

Mo chuckles, finally approaching you and Nosey Bug. “You something else, Nala Washington.”

“I’m smart!”

“Oh yeah? How many letters is there?” Mo raises a brow, taking the sugar cane from her little girl playfully.

“Hmm…” Nala thinks for a moment. “Twenty… six!”

Mo’s eyebrows shoot up. “I ain’t know that.”

“Yes you did.” You snort, placing a kiss on Nala’s face, then Mo’s.

“I can teach you too! I know all of ‘em. An’ I know all my numbers, and my colors ‘cuz Mama taught me.”

“Ya Mama pretty smart, ain’t she?”

“Pretty an’ smart.” Nosey Bug nods in agreement with Mo Baby.

“How you spell Mama’s name, Nosey Bug?” Mo sits down, gesturing to you and Nala to sit down with her. You had asked Nala to spell a lot of things, but not once had you asked her to spell your name. Mo however, has. And the answer melts her heart every time.

“H, O, N, E, Y, B, E, E.” Nala spells, looking right into your eyes as she did. “Honey Bee. And Ma is M, O, B, A, B, Y. Mo Baby.” Your eyes scan Nala, then Mo. You were thankful for them everyday, but moments like this almost made life seem surreal. You were free. You were a wife. You were a mother. You were happy.

“Good job, Bug.” You smile.
