And yes, it’s open to all, I want them ALL to see it. Let me explain to you why we say the “Gwyn is a lightsinger” theories are horrible:

1. Luring people to do things against their will is a bad character trait to write for a SA survivor like Gwyn. It’s bad writing, it’s out of character and it doesn’t fit. One of SA’s key points is will and consent, because survivors get that taken away from them by their abusers. Do you really think Gwyn will do that to somebody else when that’s the thing that hurts her the most? When her heart got torn out of her chest just by telling Nesta and Emerie about it during the Blood Rite?

2. “But she’s not aware she’s doing it”. Sweetie, that take’s even worse. Imagine what that will do to her when she realizes she’s been luring people to do things agains their will without knowing it. It will devastate her. Sarah will not do it, mark my words.

3. Cassian’s definition of a Lightsinger DOES NOT APPLY to Gwyn. Is this definition accurate? We do not know, but from what we DO know, it doesn’t fit Gwyn. Gwyn IS NOT a Lightsinger by this definition.

4. Does Gwyn have some sort of powers? Abso-fucking-lutely. But trust me, they do not lure anyone to do anything they don’t want to do.

If you need an explanation for what compelled Azriel to go downstairs and give that necklace to Gwyn; then look towards a possible mating bond between him and Gwyn. That’s what pulled him to her. You’ll have better luck with that theory. Sarah did point to it after all with the ✨spark✨in Az’s chest while thinking of Gwyn’s joy. Azriel didn’t need any mind trick or evil spell to think about her.

My girl is the least problematic character the Acotar series has ever seen and you only wish she was a forgetable side character. So put some respect on Gwyneth Berdara’s name (First of her name, Priestess of Velaris, First Valkyrie and Seventh Carynthian of the Blood Rite)

Emerie winning the blood rite and becoming Carynthian is actually the most important thing to happen in the Acotar series .

Emerie an Illyrian woman that had her wings clipped by her abusive father. A father that made Emerie dig her own mothers grave after he beat her to death. And later beat Emerie so bad that he broke her back.

Emerie who originally joined training to spite her abusive father. Then continued to train for months while simultaneously running her own business. And having to deal with family members harassing her.

Emerie was kidnapped from her own bed and forced to compete in a death tournament. Yet still managed to win the entire thing. Being the first Illyrian woman to do so.

And that was just in one book! Imagine where she’ll be by the end of the series.
