currently reading: Romans na receptę - another one of few books by Monika Szwaja that my mum borrowed in our local library. I like her style and it breaks my heart that she died being only 65🥺 There's always so much hope and friendliness and support in the world that she's depicting. And, fascinating enough, there's usually AroAllo woman representation somewhere and depicted in the positive way! Of course it is not called "aromantic" by a polish writer born in 1949, more likely for the main male character to call that "AroAllo" woman character a "robot" who "uses him as as a sex toy"🤭 - BUT nevertheless even the male protagonist really likes her, appreciates her skills as loyal assistant, treats her as good friend to confess his problems to and genuinely wishes her all the luck!👍 In other books you can expect other queers occasionally too (like a teenage son who turns out to have a boyfriend), but it's always in sympathetic and realistic yet bringing-back-faith-in-humanity kind of way🫠

currently craving: MANAGE TO GET SHIT DONE!💪 seriously I need either only 2 working days a week instead of 3 or... better time organisation😩 (so what that I have 4 "free" days a week now when there are emails to answer and books to read, and my pictures to make into album, and family members to visit, and all the new pictures' ideas to draw, and new tumblr posts to create, and those fic-WIPs waiting for so long already, and... I wonder if scheduling everything in precize days and hours would help me to feel more organised somehow?🤔 or only feel more remourse for not being able to follow the schedule?😑)

So I just noticed that the rune they are using to identify the prisoners in Azkaban is Elder Furthark. Elder Futhark is believed to be a type of powerful magic that lasts longer than deep enchantment charms. And because of that, Elder Futhark is the perfect choice to identify the prisoner of Azkaban.

They choose the runes that describe the person’s character. So for the Sebastian case, I choose:

ᚢ Uruz represent a Bull. It symbolises Reaction, Defence, Conflict, Catharsis, Regeneration. Some also said it represent  Power or Physical Strengh 

I chose Uruz because I think Sebastian can be strong minded, as strong as a bull, and the way that he ‘never steps back from a fight’ shows the strength he has and an eagerness to fight. 

ᚾ Nauthiz represents Need. It symbolises Restriction, Conflict, Willpower, Endurance, Self-Reliance

As you see, both of the runes have ‘Conflict’ in them because he is pretty much always in conflict with literally anything. Also, I think Nauthiz can also represent Sebastian’s confidence in the way that he is very confident that he can find a cure for Anne. 

For the number next to the runes, I’m not quite sure where it comes from. So I just decided to use Arithmency, and calculate from his birthday. As we all know we don’t have his official birthday yet, so I tried to decide his sign first, I think he’s a scorpio, then I take november 9 (?) LMAO, and somehow he’s always got number 5! Twice! And I was like “uuuu the new fifth-year?? YEAHH DESTINY”

And for the last little runes below the number, I chose Ehwaz Horse (Twins Gods), Kaunaz Fire (knowledge), Hagalaz Air (Transformation), Sowulo Sun (Thunderbolt/ Wheel of Power), Algiz Protection (Divine Protection), Teiwaz Victory (Warrior), and Uruz again. HAHA that's it.

It’s why she took so long to enroll in Hogwarts? Or am I the only one that came to that conclusion?) but I never posted anything, so this is my promise to you all that I will try my absolute best to write something enjoyable 🙏.

Also I have no idea how long it’ll take because my anxious ass will probably proof-read it 50 million times, BUT THE FIC WILL BE BAKED.

SPOILERS FOR THE “IN THE SHADOW OF THE MOUNTAIN” QUEST OF HOGWARTS LEGACY DOWN BELOW 👇

So, I just finished this quest today and I REALLY had to write this ramble to get this off my mind.

The Hogwarts Legacy writing team really missed on Sebastian’s line after the last triptych quest by making his line “If not for me, than for Anne” instead of “If not for Anne, then for me.” because, let’s be honest:

All this time, us helping Seb find a cure was based on the fact that we were only helping because it mattered to him, he’s our friend and we don’t want to see our friend be hurt by the loss of his sibling, so why would he tell us to do it for Anne instead of him?

Also it would give him so much more depth, because to us he is a friend, but what about on his end? Does he fully consider us his friend or does he stick around because we conveniently have and ability that can help Anne, thus giving to him all he’s wanted since she got sick?

Anyways Portkey Games please hire me already for character story writing, thank you very much.

Every time I get self conscious about writing (even though i haven’t posted anything) i remember that if colleen hoover has fans there’s no way nobody will like my writing.

POSSIBLE SPOILERS FOR THE “IN THE SHADOW OF THE STUDY” QUEST IN HOGWARTS LEGACY BELOW 👇

I have no idea if anyone has ever wrote this before, if they have they’re probably a Sebastian Sallow apologist (like I am, I’m not sorry lol).

Just after I played this quest yesterday I was thinking about Ominis’ quote just before the Crucio scene, how he says one has to mean it for any of the Unforgivables to work, and I’ve seen people saying Sebastian wanted to hurt the MC, how he’s a sadist, etc.

Sebastian is definitely not a sadist, but I’m not gonna say he’s not a natural defiant, especially if it means he’ll get what he want, and in this moment, right before having to decide what they’re going to have to do to get through the door, when he realizes they’ll end up like Noctua if they don’t use the curse, he’s willing to do anything to get them out.

The curse doesn’t work because Sebastian wants to hurt the MC, it works because he knows he has to hurt them to open the door. He’s willing to hurt one of his to save all of his, the MC, Ominis, possibly Anne and himself.

I don’t think Sebastian fully considers us his friend (maybe just enough?), but he did what he thought would save us, his best friend, him and his twin, even if it meant casting an Unforgivable Curse. I don’t see him as evil or a villain, he’s 15/16 years old, he’ll do reckless things if he thinks it’s the right thing to do.

Anyways that’s it, remembering this is all my opinion and you absolutely don’t have to agree with me, but I thought I might share. Don’t stop edging your gyatts and be safe guys 🎀
