Au where Jonah is a ghost and Adam killed him, and he's very pissed about it (and also the fact he never cared for him and their friendship was one sided) so he haunts hims and follows him around and shit while Adam thinks he's just an illusion/alternate and he doesn't remember what he did

I feel like when alt!Cesar can taste, if **he** eats sweets, **he** will say "This tastes like happiness," and Mark will say "Yep, that's sugar" without realizing **he** meant it literally.

To add onto Alt!Ces tasting emotions, I had a thought of what if Alt!Ces tried to explain how emotions taste to Mark.

I can just imagine Ces being like, “yea, happy emotions taste really sweet to the point it’s disgusting, but when you’re happy, it taste’s perfect” and Mark going, “…Should I be concerned?”

Idk just a thought of mine but simplified

Oh, for sure I need alt!Cesar to try and explain how he experiences other people's emotions at some point! lmao

Idk if he'd explain how Mark's happiness and affection tastes in too much detail, because that would get very personal very fast and he'd still feel guilty about Mark giving those emotions to him. I think he struggles with it because he feels that he is somehow still stealing what should be the real Cesar's much like he did in Part 1. Even when he and Mark have worked things out and become friends, there's always that lingering pain of knowing he stole a whole life, a whole friendship that was once someone else's - that Cesar should be the one to get all that affection from Mark, not him, if that makes sense?

HC: Because Mark and Thatcher are "blessed" by Gabriel, those two idiots cannot be separated from long distances (i.e one is in Mandela while the other is in a whole other County) and would feel a hollow emotion and the urge to go back to whoever needs the other most (mainly Mark because this modern day saint is sad almost 24/7). And fate would always string them together no matter how far apart they are (this includes dying, because they must die together </3)

So, basically, even if Thatcher were to get out of Mandela County to have a life somewhere else. His fate will force him to come back to Mandela and get his not-son.

Also, these two traumatised babygurls can quickly heal any wounds (physical, not mortal) in a week or less if they're together.

Very fun you mention this! There's an element of it that's been slightly hinted at already and will get confirmed more in the next Good Samaritan chapter and future Parts, but Thatcher does seem to instinctively know whenever Mark is in trouble or danger! Mark doesn't seem to have that instinct, but I do think that if they were ever separated that they would always find their way back to each other, whether intentionally or not.

Honestly though, I don't think Thatcher would ever consider leaving Mandela County without Mark. I think he'd rather die before allowing that to happen at this point, bless him. He really is fiercely protective of his absolutely-not-son huh?
