so like Scott’s been doing his True Alpha thing and he’s super stressed out and not very idealistic because hey life truly sucks and Derek notices and he’s like “hey Scott isn’t as annoyingly cute and he doesn’t smile like...

"the love between best friends goes deeper than words."

As tears rolled down my cheeks, I watched Derek and Cora leave, Scott's words lingering in my head. Is my ship irreversibly sinking? Is this really Scott and Derek's farewell? I don't think it is but more importantly, I think that this line is proof of how much Scott has grown to care for Derek. Scott can not only admit that he hopes Derek will return, but also has enough love for him to wish him happiness no matter how far he has to go to find it. That's real love. That having been said, I will cling to the hope that when the proverbial sh!t hits the fan with Peter coming after Scott next season, Derek will return and be there to help him. I can't imagine the show without him.

You should all SEE the look on my bf's face when he heard the bizarre, agonized wailing sound I made at the end of episode 9. He clearly thinks I'm insane. "It's just a TV show." he says. JUST A TV SHOW. No. It's STILES' DAD! And Lydia!!! Is she okay?!? And poor fucking Derek! I KNEW there was no way Jeff would let him have any happiness! I FUCKING KNEW IT. But THIS?! What. The. Fuck. T_T *broken* ;-; edit: (He should've just kept pining over Scott. Safer, and Scott'll come around eventually. Someday. :P )
