Imagine being someone who knew Jake Sully when he was still on earth. Like someone from either high school or the marines and only really knowing him as a acquaintance but you thought he was a decent enough person. You hear that he got discharged after getting injured and that's the last you heard about him for nearly eleven years.

And one random day you hear his name on the news and find out that he:

1. Went to Pandora to fill in for his dead twin that you forgot he had and use his million dollar lab grown alien body.

2. Was accepted into a alien society and clan and apparently got married.

3. Helped start and end a war that killed nearly half of the human military force on the moon while ridding on a prehistoric dragon the size of a building.

4. Sent almost every human left on the moon back to earth.

5. And possibly became one of the aliens permanently.

All within the span of three months.
