That's the thing about books. They let you travel without moving your feet.
I was 12 when my teacher asked us to write a short story about our best friend. I looked at mine and smiled. I then wrote everything I knew about her. Once we're done the teacher asked for volunteers to read our story out loud. My best friend went first.
I was not in her story.
What's the point of a diary if no one is gonna stumble upon it centuries later and fall in love with you after you're dead?
Isn't it strange that we talk least about the things we think about most?
