(I can’t believe my first interaction on this revamped blog is Alphys telling Mettaton he’s a top.)

“To think Sans had been trying to fix this machine when he didn’t even know how to read wingdings...” The royal scientist muttered to herself, clawed digits trailing over the lines of symbols on the blue parchment. Being Gaster’s apprentice back when he was still a part of the timeline, she’d learned quite a bit from the skeleton. So much so that not even the scientist’s shattering across dimensions could stop her from knowing who he was.

She wouldn’t be where she was without him, so it was only fair she worked to bring him back. To think Sans and Papyrus had these blueprints the whole time and hadn’t thought to bring them to her. Seems he only got lazier during the resets.
