hello! i found one of your moomin illustrations, the one with a river and snufkin and moomin troll on the bridge and a forest behind, and did a study of it (without the moomin characters on the brigde) thinking it was official tove jansson art. looking for the illustrations name or similar i realised it wasnt her official art but yours! i was thinking, would you mind me posting it on instagram with credit or do you want me to keep it private? either is fine, thank you♥

Do you believe that the Moomins are people-sized or that they're small and all the people they meet are small?

I have a headcanon that, in the world of moomin valley, humans don't exist, and the characters that do resemble them are really different creatures entirely. In the books many of the more traditionally human looking characters do retain some beast like traits. I think Snufkin has a tail? So they could be any size. Personally I like to imagine them being about 3-4 feet tall. But that's just me. Any interpretation is valid and good.

Thank you sm! My url was supposed to be based on a bumper sticker I saw once that said my other ride is a unicorn. But I ended up shortening it to icamebyunicorn so it would be easier to remember and that’s the one that stuck.
