Sometimes I remember that several people don’t recognize the absolute gift that is hizashi yamada and I get so sad.

He’s so often played off as a dumb side character, but dude, he is bilingual, if not trilingual (I think most of us headcanon him as at least partially deft/head of hearing and knowing JSL), has three jobs, is loved by students, cares about his students, cares about his friends, he is a radio-show host, a teacher, and a pro-hero, all of which are time consuming jobs that take a lot of effort! He probably doesn’t get a ton of sleep, but he’s always so energetic and helpful to his students! He doesn’t stand for sexism, and he totally would take the time out of his schedule to help if a student if they asked.

He’s great, and I love him, and I want him to adopt me so badly it’s stupid.

But bro, he’s smart and I will perish on this hill and be happy to do so. I will fight for this hill. I will commit atrocities for this hill. I know it’s dumb to be this emotionally invested in this, but goddammit, I am even more emotionally invested in this than I can express in my current sleep deprived and cold state

Heya, saw you ask thingy, do you have any headcanons of hizashi interacting with other characters? Like what people he'd befriend or like absolutely avoid

aah, I have the feeling that he is an attractive being for everyone, you know? like a moth to the light or something, he is super friendly with everyone and you like him instantly but being liked by people does not mean that you like them.

Although for me his Present Mic character can be uncomfortable sometimes for people haha. Hizashi is a sun in every word and you just want to be around him... unless he has had really bad days and is so tired, it's like he turns off.

Despite this, I feel that he is someone who only calls a few people friends haha

At UA a rumor started that the two of them had started dating, it's a shame that they didn't deny that to their friends. There was an argument between Aizawa and Nemuri, because she knew he was in love with Yamada and in turn Oboro and Hizashi fought because Hizashi knew of the liking between his friend and Kayama

For me, Hizashi is a polyglot, English is not enough for him, he knows Spanish, Italian, French, sign language (count? yeah) God, he must even know Portuguese. I'm so sure that I was learning several of them at the same time while I was studying physics, he is great at that , nobody is going to take that away from me
