Now that I watched it again and closely I can see blood on Joffrey hair... You can understand that Alicent didn't even allowed her one minute to be with her newborn..

I could say many things for this moment alone but I'm getting tired.. Alicent Hightower was cruel. She had NO REASON or EXCUSE to call a maid and go get the baby from the mother seconds after she gave birth to him!

It's one of the reasons I get angry to those who ship Alicent × Rhaenyra because they like to say all the time that Daemon "groomed her" but why is no one talking about the way Alicent abused Rhaenyra?

Are they forgetting the things Alicent did to Rhaenyra?

Do you know that Rhaenyra could have died after this? Rhaenyra was still bleeding and you are telling me Alicent couldn't have went herself to visit Rhaenyra and the baby?

I didn't know Alicent had a problem with her legs? Now I get it! It must have been her many visits to Larys whoring herself for information or spreading rumors against Rhaenyra that have tired her legs.

Queen Míriel of Greenwood

Queen Míriel exuded an aura of pride and stubbornness, her every word tinged with a hint of petulance. Though she could charm with her grace, her temper flared at the slightest provocation, and she harbored grudges with a tenacity unmatched. As an exemplary and graceful queen, she demanded respect and offered none in return to those who dared to insult her. Her devotion to her only son, Prince Thranduil, knew no bounds. Míriel personally oversaw every aspect of his upbringing, fiercely protective of him against any perceived threat. Yet, beneath her overprotective facade lay a deep-seated resentment towards her daughter-in-law, Crown Princess Elindwen. Míriel's disdain for Elindwen was no secret, fueled by a fear of being overshadowed and replaced by a woman so vastly different in temperament, yet adored by many. In her role as a wife, Míriel displayed obedience tempered with unwavering determination. Her relationship with Oropher was a testament to their love, his endearment for her, "Wild Flower," a reminder of her untamed spirit. With but a snap of her fingers, she could command Oropher's attention, her will his utmost priority. Physically, Míriel was a vision of elegance, her long white (or some say golden) hair cascading around her high-backed nose and hourglass figure. Though some may have despised her, none could deny the power and presence she commanded as the queen consort of the realm.

OK. That's my best idea. I can explain the "Princess of Lindon" in the picture of Thranduil's mother. My headcanon is that she is Gil-Galad's sister and that they (Gil-galad and Míriel) had a Sindarin mother, that's why she has white hair (but their father is Fingon). Anyway... Tonight I found myself thinking about Oropher's hair color. In my headcanons, his father is Noldor, but his mother is Sinda. So, could he have silver hair with some black highlights? Yes! It would be cute, in my mind, it brings some cuteness looking to him and makes him a golden retriever himbo. But, there is a possibility that his hair is all black like his father's (with some hidden silver strands) and all softly wavy, like his mother's. But, with Oropher's hair being black, how could Thranduil's hair be platinum gold? Simply put, he inherited his hair color from his mother, Oropher's wife. Black haired Oropher brings me some "Do i wanna know?". Silver-haired Oropher is cool, but black-haired Oropher is just... DO YOU WANT ME CRAWLIN BACK TO YOU?

Viserys does not consider his kids by Alicent as his “actual family”. They’re not Daemon, who has been by his side his entire life and is all that’s left of his parents. They’re not Rhaenyra, who is all he has left of Aemma and who represents a way to assuage his guilt over his role in her death.

Aegon, Helaena, Aemond and Daeron are spares in case of something happening to Rhaenyra. And once Rhaenyra has her own kids? Well, they aren’t even needed for that anymore and honestly I think that’s what caused Viserys to stop treating them like his kids. Aegon got a bit of affection at the beginning (probably because Viserys had wanted a son for so long), but once Jace and Luce came along that affection disappeared. His “only child” has had her own sons, why would he need his own anymore? They aren’t inheriting anything, Helaena may have had some interest to him because she could have married Jace but that never happened. And after Driftmark? Where he threatened a severely injured Aemond because of some insults, yelled at Aegon is front of everyone and then completely brushed off their mother? They would probably be scared to say anything in case he took offense and cut off their tongues, like he said he would.

The symbolism of Viserys rotten side facing the Greens and the better side facing the Blacks can be debated and interpreted as people see fit, but I reckon it doesn’t just symbolise whose in the right and whose in the wrong, but each groups relationship with Viserys. Viserys is not these kids father. He could have been but he chose instead to be their King, essentially telling them that they are not truly his family.

You know, if I had to tell everyone what happened to me, it would be another book all together, and right now I have my hands full with books. I am so busy now that I have just been told to give up my dreams PhD work and just concentrate on writing books.

First things first: @tkwrtrilogy3 is back. First of all there will be a crash course on what the new people that showed up missed. That begins tomorrow the writing begins October 7 as you can see by the lovely illustration above.

So much to do and so much time to do it. Considering this book is a trilogy, and it has an extra three books attached to it, I’ll probably be writing this one until I’m 70. I just turned 50 so that tells you a lot. OK, so I write fast. Maybe 65. Be grateful. Oh. It is already twice as long than the entire first season of Rings of Power (probably longer).

Next: The New King in Town @lesecretdelamaisondubourbon So, you probably missed it. Not only am I Thranduil, I am also Louis XIV currently. I will be his Daddy, too.

I had to jump ahead for theme reason on Instagram and I’m afraid if you go over there you’ll want him to grow faster. I would also like to tell everybody that his brother Philippe he has a story to tell.

Oh, right. The Secret of the House of Bourbon is also a trilogy. I write trilogies. Why? Because I’d like to write. A lot. I also read as much as I write. And sometimes in French. HOB (as we call it) covers 196 years of the House of Bourbon. I wanted to start with Louis XIII, but my co-author loves her some Philippe, so to stay consistent, I headed over to Louis XIV. That was probably the absolute best decision I ever made in my life and I suck at making decisions. I really suck at making decisions. I try my best not to make any of them. So, like I always do, I ended up beginning a story in the middle. I am in Book III and it is all about Louis XIV. Yes, there are women. More than you can imagine but not as many as his grandfather Henri IV. There is no one earth who can have that many women except for his grandfather Henri IV. Oh, and by the way, this is not fanfiction based on anything like a television show perhaps. This is all about the history and the history is wilder than the television show. How wild? Let’s just say somebody made me go through 500 pictures of one poem before they decided OK, this doesn’t have to be a PG-13 novel. 😑 I mean it doesn’t have to be like Tolkien. We are grownups. I think we’re grown ups. Well, she might be more than I am. But we’re definitely grownups. So anyway this is a grown-up book about grown-ups just happened to start as children before they become grown-ups. In 17th-century France. Yeah. Did you know Louis was born with two teeth? 🦷

We are adults. Fun fact: My birthday is September 4. The day before Louis XIV. Ain’t that a kick in the head?

So, I guess this is it. I guess I am coming back. It’ll take a while to get used to being back after such a Trumatic experience I went through, but I’m happy to be back to doing what I love. Writing. Oh, one more thing:

Thank you Tolkien! thank you for making us experience the sensational feeling of living in Middle Earth. Thank you for making me fall in love with Thranduil and so many other characters. Thank you for every moment I cried reading Boromir's death. Thank you for making me want to have a romance like Arwen and Aragorn or Beren and Lúthien. Thank you for writing the best fantasy book in the universe. I love you for it!

My Headcanon on Thranduil's Mother:

• I like to think she was one of Queen Melian's ladies-in-waiting.

• She had Baby Blond blonde hair and blue eyes.

•She and Oropher met in Doriath's palace and spent a lot of time flirting with each other, they loved each other very much and he used to call her "My Flower".

•She gave birth to baby Thranduil in the spring. She loved to sing to baby Thranduil, was very fond of taking care and playing with him, she also used to take him to the river to play in the water and was a caring mother and loved him very much.

•She wore the white gems every day and received it as a gift from Oropher.

• She and baby Thranduil along with Oropher managed to escape Doriath alive, upon arriving in Greenwood she became queen and ruled alongside her husband until his death which was when she died of sadness, both died when Thranduil was already an adult, the only difference is that she died shortly after Oropher.

•She was an archer, hunted with her husband and fought very well.

You know, I like to imagine that Thranduil's mother, when she was pregnant with him, used to sing to him while still in her belly. I also like to imagine that Oropher played and talked with him. Damn, I want a fanart about this.
