Imagine Your Favorite Character

Imagine Your Favorite Character

Imagine getting a bruise/burn/sore or any injury in general and your favorite character coming over to kiss it better. They take care of you, wanting you to have a break and get better. They know how hard things get for you especially when you push and are too hard on yourself. They care about you deeply and want you to know that they treasure you.

I caught a really bad cold these past few days and Iโ€™d really appreciate if youโ€™d send me an ask, it can be about anything really, to help me keep my mind off it.

Thank you, please take care of yourselves too and I hope you have a lovely day and everyday after! ๐Ÿ’•

What is the drink you have on hand when you're writing? I hope you have a lovely day!

I love having tea an orange pekoe or chamomile tea usually. Itโ€™s really soothing which helps me when I need to write. Thank you for your ask! ๐Ÿ’•

Digital drawing of an Egyptian Fruit Bat holding onto a slice of watermelon with its wing. The bat has greyish brown fur, big eyes and looks like it is grinning. On the bat's dark brown wing has the words written "Free Palestine" alongside the Palestinian flag. The background is white with the keffiyeh pattern coloured light green and light red.

Egyptian Fruit Bats are one of the few bat species in Palestine, though they span a wide range across Africa to Asia.

Maybe from my icon you can tell that I like these bats, so when I learned they were also in Palestine, I tried looking them up. I stumbled upon this video that shows the House of Bats in Old Jaffa. I searched about it, and ended up learning about cities that were colonised by Israel instead, Jaffa being one of them.

The Bat House is now a historical landmark in Tel-Aviv, which feels off-putting when you think of all the historical buildings Israel has bombed all this time.

If you read up on studies of Egyptian Fruit Bats, often times they would be conducted in Israel, specifically Tel-Aviv. So inevitably, my mind would be reminded of Palestine whenever I read about these bats. There's always a bitter, sickening feeling to this, that Israeli institutions are able to carry out and leading such research and advancements, while Palestine and its institutions are constantly being destroyed (x, x, x, x and many more), scholars and academics are killed and assassinated by Israel and its backers at any chance.

It's the outcome of colonialism every time apparently; the colonizers thrive while the indigenous suffer, resulting a huge gap of development among the groups.

I can't seem to put these in better words. I hope that Palestine will be free, the people will live, along with their wildlife, their trees, their produce, their lands, their homes. For their ecosystem to heal, to thrive prosperously.

Alternate designs under the cut. Free to use and spread around.

last chance to evacuate

as you may know, israel has begun its ground operation in rafah. they dropped leaflets last night ordering people to evacuate, and bombing in east rafah has already begun.

The border is about to become unreachable.

Last Chance To Evacuate

Rafah is trapped.

We have literal hours until no-one, all the GoFundMe's you've scrolled past, all the people desperately begging on TikTok, will be able to escape.

Give now. Give whatever you can.

I am fundraising for the Odeh family, which is only 3k away from meeting its goal.

Last Chance To Evacuate

you will not get another chance.
