Ok, but like, imagine if we got Joey!Ethan in Black Friday. Joey!Ethan has always struck me as more of a nurturing depiction of the character (in part because of the dialouge, but also in part because of Joey's performance I think), so I feel like their dynamic would be really sweet. But then, he dies. That would be devastating enough on its own. But then, imagine how fucking scary the "it's just like california" scene could be if it was THE SAME ACTOR WHO ALSO PLAYS WILEY. It could be so chilling to reinterpret the scene as Wilbur specifically taking control of Ethan. Just imagine that performance. You know Joey would fucking eat that scene and leave no crumbs. Haunting shit.
