Cosplay is for everyone...
I was gonna reblog this awful, hate-filled expose post on one particular cosplayer who became violently offended when asked to cosplay something from Off — because of how banal and simplistic one of those costumes would be, and then went to flame on about any “less-than-perfect” cosplay, even so far as to bash those who’s body type didn’t fit into the mold for their character. I was going to reblog it, then post my response, but just one paragraph of telephoned hate is nearly too much… So, here’s something I wanna say to everyone out there. Cosplay is for everyone. It is that simple. It is an art, and can be interpreted however you want. Cosplay whatever, whomever, however, and whenever you want for whatever reason. Change your gender, change your height, don’t change your gender, don’t change your height — alter the character, alter yourself, alter the cut, alter the storyline — PLAY with your cosplay. Tape a logo on your shirt and call it batman. Life-cast a rubber armor piece to do the same thing. There is ONLY one wrong way to cosplay, and that is to put other people down for theirs.
Now, everyone’s going to come to cosplay for different reasons. Some like to perform, some like to be accurate, some like to showcase their ability, some just love a character and want to show their support, and we're all granted our catty, bitchy comments to keep to ourselves and our close group of friends, but at the end of the day in this art form, out of so many others, we need to treat each other with dignity and respect. Fuck ugly personalities. Love your cosplays, love other people’s cosplays.

Got to meet Supergirl when she was filming in Vancouver.

Thea: "Where have you been?!" Oliver: "I was in Blüdhaven, ran into an old friend of mine, things got interesting..."
Maybe I read far too much fanfiction, but I was dissapointed in Oliver this episode. I was expecting him to react at least as bad as he did when it was Thea in a hospital bed.
I found the Olicity scenes very sweet, but I was hoping for emotional, raw, painful-I wanted them to make me cry with how much Oliver loves Felicity and how he can’t stand to see her hurt. But instead I got a joke about Bali, that while sweet -didn’t deliver the emotion I wanted.

Behind every great Detective, there’s an even greater Superhero!
